The perfect storm

No point here Redress. Navy refuses to give an honest answer as to why he uses the name, because he's incapable of giving an honest answer that doesn't highlight his view in a negative light. He falls back on "Its his name" which actually isn't a reason, because ALL the candidates have a middle name and Navy doesn't use them, which of course indicates the reason must be something other than "It's his name". However, Navy has never...and of course will never...actually provide an answer as to the "why".

The fact he won't actually makes the answer pretty clear.

The fact that Obama has the same name as the dead radical leader of Iraq is very significant to me.......For all we know he might have been named after him..........

Yeah, that's why I hated Reagan, because he had the same name as Ronald McDonald and clowns are creepy.

Is there any way we can get back on the topic I started.......This is the perfect opportunity for the Republicans to take back both the Senate and the Presidency and they are blowing it...........I wonder if someone like Rubio will come in at the last minute and save the day......

So a baby born in Hawaii with parents who have no ties to Iraq was named after a 24 year old Iraqi? Yeah that makes sense.

This entire post encapsulates what Republicans are about now. They hate Obama so goddamn much but yet, know that there is nothing they can do about it until 2016. I like it.

Obama's out, man. Face it. The Indies are gone.

You would be ok naming your kid Hitler, or Stalin?

You would be ok naming your kid Hitler, or Stalin?

So back when Obama was born, Hussein was a widely known name of a mass murderer? You really need to grow up.

My problem is if God forbid He gets reelected there may not be and election in 2016 as he might get his socialist state my left wing friend...........

the sky is fallin'

I like how Obama is described both as a staunch socialist, and, I presume, a subversive fundamentalist Muslim (hence the emphasis on his middle name?) Either way, I find the contradicting nature of these complaints highly amusing.

Do you care if someones first or middle name is Charles or Jeffrey since they're the names of brutal famous killers? If someone's name is Hugo or Manuel would you suggest they should have their name pointed out all the time? Joseph Stalin killed millions of people...do you call every politician with the name "Joseph" by their full name to highlight they have the same name as a dead radical leader of the Soviet Union? Seriously...what does him having a middle name that's the same as the last name of an Iraqi Dictator (and of around 3,500 U.S. Citizens)...have to do with ANYTHING? What does that tell you that is so "Significant".

And Navy, I know you know how to do math but I'm going to help you here.

Barack Obama was born and named in August of 1961
Saddam Hussein became President of Iraq in July of 1979

He didn't come into any real power in Iraq till 1968.

Unless Barack Obama's parents were prophets able to see into the future, the notion that he was named after him shouldn't even be something even imagined.

The fact that Obama has the same name as the dead radical leader of Iraq is very significant to me.......For all we know he might have been named after him..........

so, Obama should change his middle-name because it makes you uncomfortable?

I would've been fine with it 18 years before they even largely came onto the scene as leaders of a country and more than two decades before they were known as murderous dictators...which would be the case in regards to Barack Obama's birth.

And I'd have no issue even now naming a kid "Joseph".

Well Navy, if you don't want people to comment on what you say I'd suggest you don't say it.

I don't think Rubio will be entering the election, especially not this close to the first primary.

I think the Republicans are going to have a hard go winning this year with the candidates that are likely to win. Gingrich would have an uphill battle, I don't think Paul can win, and I think Romney is going to have a HUGE problem energizing the base to get out to vote or donate or spread the word for him as evident by the massive "NotRomney" support throughout this election.

The countries focus in the past 2 years has been on fiscal and governmental issues with the base strongly grabbing onto solid conservatism. So who do the Republican give us? SOCIAL SOCIAL SOCIAL focused Bachmann and Santorum and moderate Romney.

Sigh

if Adolph was a more common name, kids would still be named it.

folks are still named Vladimir, Joseph, Rudolph, Hermann, Heinrich, & Joachim.....all names of Nazi & Soviet criminals.

If you won't accept the fact that the left is Obama's base then you are living in fantasy land....Without there support he can not be reelected.........

Wait, what? I never claimed his base was not the left. Do you have any more deflections or are you actually going to show that Obama wants to pull troops out of South Korea?

The name Hussein comes from the Koran and according to Wikipedia it is a given name in many Islamic cultures and nations, it comes from this fellow here: Hussein ibn Ali - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Apparently he was a son of one of Mohammed's daughters. So basically its the EXACT SAME ****ING THING that many Christian cultures do, which is name their children after names found in their holy book or religion's history. No different than naming your so Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John.

Also Hilter and Stalin are both family names, they aren't given names like Hussein. So since Hussein is a given name like "Bob" is a given name, then we should look at Hitler's and Stalin's given names, which are Adolf and Joseph. Ok so Adolf is a name which comes from old German, and isn't really related to the Bible but comes from medieval German words. Then we have Joseph, which is a name from the Bible obviously.

But since both Hussein and Joseph are given names and according to you Obama's parents must have known about this young Iraqi who'd grow up to do terrible things and weren't just looking for a common name in their culture that fit, like parents do all over the world, which must mean they are in line with Hussein's polices!! Or at the very least apathetic towards them. BUT WAIT, that also means going off that standard that every child named Joseph after the 1920s was named after one of the most brutal dictators in all of history, EVERYONE NAMED JOSEPH IS A COMMUNIST!!!!

I've got to say Sarge, this comment takes the cake, pride of the NCO Corps are we?

2012 is the perfect storm and excellent chance to take Huseein Obama out but sadly I doubt if it will happen...The Republicans running have very little chance to beat Hussein.........That is so sad................

Hello old friend. I hope your Christmas went well and I wish you the best New Year of all! God bless you and yours.

Go Navy!

I am hoping the Republicans might come to their senses and draft Rubio or someone of his status at the convention....I believe that is the only chance the Republicans have unless Obama pulls one of his usual major gaffes again.........

His base would love to pull the troops out of every country we have them in.........

yeah, we need them in Germany WHY exactly????? to stop the Soviet Union from breaking through the Berlin Wall and taking over Checkpoint Charlie??

Well, I guess I'm an oddball liberal but I LOVE to wish my friends a Merry CHRISTmas and wish upon them God's blessing. And I ain't ashamed to do it anywhere at anytime.

Shucks, even a dog is smart enough to lick his master's hand. I'd like to think I'm smarter than a dog.

Not sure what caused your year to be rough but my prayers are with you none the less and I will just ask God to answer your prayers and to comfort you as I am sure He knows what's going on with you.
