BO has pretty much ticked off everybody.....well played chump

You want us to believe that a statement from a politician about a "tentative deadline" amounts to something?
You don't put a solid withdrawal table in a war because there are always x factors that can come about. Sometimes things happen to push back the best plans. So yes, a tentative deadline does mean something.

obama was the pol--it was under the obama watch that the bulk of troops left. True, 10,000 US mercenaries are still there, but the presence of contractors doesn't compromise sovereignty. dumbya, OTOH, just made empty promises.
Yes, due to failed negotiations the 2011 withdrawal became a reality. Hopefully there is no fallout and I hope to god Iran doesn't try to invade which is currently a concern of many in the defense dept. If that happens Obama owns it, but hey go ahead and give him credit for the withdrawal if you want, he already does.
And the evidence from several mainstream media reports (based on sources within the military), suggest that dumbya failed to act on information about bin Laden's whereabouts. . .
Care to source that? Considering I listen to a lot of news and haven't heard it from one credible mainstream news organization. The same ones that passed along the D talking points about 9/11 being an inside job.

Whereas obama, based on media reports, did the job and killed bin Laden.
SEAL team 6 killed OBL, not BHO, he gave the order based on info passed along by a courier that was interrogated under Bush era tactics. You don't get to give credit for anything other than the order to engage.

Anyone else find it really weird how people can refer to Obama as "the chosen one" while simultaneously crowing about how low his support is?

"The Chosen One" refers to some monologue from his nomination in '08, can't remember who did it or the context. It does need to be retired though, good catch.

Some people have finally taken the wool off their eyes.

He's the lesser of all current evils.

It wasn't a "tentative" deadline. It was a treaty/agreement signed by Bush and the government of Iraq called the U.S.-Iraq Status of Force Agreement signed in 2008. In it, the U.S. agreed to have all forces out of Iraq by December 31, 2011.

Obama was simply following the agreement signed into law by Bush in 2008.

I suggest you read about it so you don't look so foolish in the future.

Actually it stems from the sarcastic BS spewed by right wing pundits during the campaign.

No, it was a specific commentator I believe. It had something to do with Obama's claims to lowering the sea levels and a few other extremely unlikely promises. I don't remember who coined it but it had to do with a "false messiah" optic from some of the campaign speeches.

CA, I've read some of the slimeball **** that has been done in the name of Democrat leadership and it's the most unethical stuff period. The same people who say "party of the little guy" do things that the most corrupt big business owner couldn't dream of. Examples; Nancy Pelosi: underpays most of the employees at her husbands businesses, major stock holder in Dole co. and moved canning operations to American Samoa where the min. wage is lower than the continental U.S. and it's other outlying territories. Obama and the Resco deal, his wife's cushy job as a hospital administrative "special" department that doesn't exist since he took the presidency, The late Jack Murtha and his ethical problems, the insider trading(from both parties to be fair). The fact is the Dems cheat at least as much if not more than the worst of the Reps.

I do not disagree. Politicians are politicians. I am simply pointing out the simple, well-known fact that the Democrat party panders to the leftwing peasantry while the GOP panders to the fat-cats. It's the democrat's job to steal crumbs from the table and bring them back to the masses. It's the republicans job to see that all systems remain in go position for the fat cats to maintain their hoarding of said crumbs. They are both only working their side of the street while paving their driveways in gold. They are scumbags. No argument here bro.

Like I said, it came from sarcastic references from the Right.

All politicians are bought by the so-called fat cats, that's my only disagreement. There was some funding issues raised between the Wall Street firms accused of the problems and they were pretty much in both parties pockets.

You know, I was just thinking about something I heard on TV the other day. They mentioned that, historically, the candidate that Goldman Sachs spends most of their money on wins the oval office. The report also stated that GS has donated more to Obama than any other candidate.

Could the game be rigged? Say it isn't so! LOL!
