Who would be your ideal President? In your opinion, of course. And not limited to those who are running, but it can include declared candidates if that is your ideal person.

Cookie Monster

Ralph Nader!

Ron Paul, he's just too eccentric to not be genuine!

Chuckie Cheese

I like it. Make Howard Clark the Fed Chairman and that tag team would clear up our debt problems in 20 months

If I were prez I'd nationalize the federal reserve and place a libertarian as secretary of the Treasury. I think that kind of fiscal watchdoging would be optimum.

Easy-peasy. Hillary Clinton. :)

We all know a president cant do much on his own...so dreaming about the perfect president is a waste of time....id rather handpick the entire congress...just look at the stonewalling do nothing bunch of mutts up there...could any president do much with the extremist whackos on both sides up there...Im sick of them and im getting sick of listening to it and reading it to be honest....nothing changes..

Grover Norquist…as long as were going to **** it up, might as well do it bigtime.:(

Your biased sexism is showing.

Quiet, you. Seriously, I voted for her in 2008 as a write in, because I couldn't see putting an unqualified professional campaigner in the whitehouse. And as I've said before, no way was I going to vote for BushLite and Bubblebrain.

Hillary's got the intelligence, the experience, the international respect and foreign relations knowledge to be one hell of a great president. That, and she could lend Obama two balls and still have a brass-plated pair left. ;)

Who would be my ideal president. Well, for starters, one who doesn't lie his ass off. But, alas, such a critter does not exist.

John Stewart. He's smart, knows the issues, and at least it would be entertaining.

gov. William Donald Shaffer!

especially towards the end of his life. he did not pull punches!

Well said...but we all know Willy hurt her badly....I voted for Mcain...and would again

He's Ron ****ing Swanson.

The more I'm looking, Huntsman may be the closest to an ideal President in my mind...in part because I can't honestly say someone would be "ideal" who would have absolutely no shot. Experienced, has gotten results, conservative but doesn't push the social side hard, positive and moderate in his rhetoric, and seemingly devoid of the "slimy" feel I get from some politicians like Perry and Romney.

I can agree with all that you said...but I stand by he would be totally ineffective and unable to do what needs to be done as long as the congress remains the same...its all about congress in my mind
