Who do you wish would just go away?

Which one should go away?

That's a tough choice. I'd love to see Romney disappear because he disgusts me on every level humanly possible. I'd also love to see Bachman disappear because she degrades the credibility of the entire process with her gender.

Damn. Do you have to turn every freaking thread into a wallow of misogyny and sexism? Please, rachet it down just a bit. Women are legally considered as people in this country.

I hate picking one :-(.

I would honestly like to get rid of santorum, perry, cain, bachmann, romney, and gingrich.

Start with Paul, Huntsman, Gary and give 2-3 extra slots to other people.

I say just have in the debates:

Jon Hunstman
Buddy Roemer
Ron Paul
Gary Johnson

I think that would be one helluva informative debate. I think the rest are just blowhards trying to pull emotional triggers that don't amount to crap with regards to sane policy.

Yes, god forbid the REPUBLICAN debates have people in it Republicans wouldn't want to listen to.

Me personally, I'd like to see it get down to the following out of those running:

Ron Paul
Newt Gingrich
Mitt Romney
John Huntsman
Michelle Bachmann

Here's why...

Ron Paul brings your Libertarian ideas to the table and a check on many issues in the debate
Newt seems to be the closest to perhaps a paleoconservative out of the bunch, and is by far the most intelligent debater
Mitt brings your average politician persona into it and is the current representative of the more "neo-conservative" mindset
Huntsman gives you this quasi-old school / new school Republican mix, that gives you a slightly more moderated libertarian-esque mindset
Bachmann provides your religious right, social conservative voice to the debates. Her experience on the intelligence committee and general debating style I think makes her better suited than Perry or Santorum.

I'd want those five because I think all five could bring something unique to the debate, question the other members of the debates various views with regards to their conservatism, and allows for a good meeting of the minds on the various issues. Naturally as things moved forward it'd dwindle down, but frankly if it were those 5 from now till the end of New Hampshire I'd be very happy.

Santorum

I honestly do not think the guy stands a chance to get elected, but he just pisses me off every time I hear him talk. I think my biggest problem with him is how hypocritical he can be without even knowing it. I have heard him in the same sentence say that he doesn't want Sharia Law in America and thinks its wrong, but that our laws should be based off of Christian laws of the Bible.

Now, Bachmann isn't far behind.

Actually, although I would never vote for the guy, I don't mind Paul being in the debates, especially that Focus on the Family one. He was the only voice of reason up there for a good portion of that "debate".

Im sorry you found humor in my comment. I failed to make my feelings obvious to you. Humor was not what I was feeling it was hate. I hate everything the man stands for. And I would never wish death on our president no mater who he was. But if he were in a permanent coma he could not harm the country I love any longer.

Pretty much summing up most of Obama's opposition from the GOP rather well. Too bad they can never really extrapolate on what they want to build because their focus is generally on what they want to dismantle and/or destroy.

Santorum,

I have no idea why he is still around...he just needs to leave. He also manages to get a good amount of time on debates in comparison to other candidates, i just don't get it. Some people with a lot of money must REALLY like him.

Or - people love to watch the wounded animal squirm. Whenever I hear him speak, I stroke my ego as I feel more intelligent and say: "hey, at least I am not as stupid as him"

Rob, most of the GOP and other conservatives such as myself do not wish harm on anyone. We would just rather see them not elected or re-elected. But, AS a conservative, yes, I very much would like to see a lot of government dismantled and or destroyed. Perhaps a difference between me and some others is that I do not call for an absolute dimantling of any one particular program, but just dismantling all of bloated worthless growth of the government. Government is generally too big and a majority of its programs cost so much just to sustain them with so little benefit, so yeah, dismantling and destroying is not necessarily a bad thing, quite a good thing actually.

Understood. Just blowing off steam on him because of his insane amount of self-professed hate. Should've just targetted him and not have been so general.

the shytbirds on both sides put a black eye on all the rest of us, and of course the media makes such a big deal out of them making it appear as if they are the norm rather than the exxception.

I wish Rush Limbaugh would get pepper sprayed, then go away...

If he's so irrelevant as you on the left say, then what would that accomplish?

No one on the left says that he's irrelevant. In fact that's what consevatives say any time Limbaugh says something that's indefensively disgusting (i.e. every day). The sad truth is that the right actually treats guys like Limbaugh and Beck like oracles when in fact they are nothing but entertainers playing a charictured roll to sell advertising. It's a modern day verson of the War of the Worlds lunacy.

This is a difficult decision...
Perhaps Perry because he is the dumbest.
Bachmann, because the first Sarah Palin was bad enough.
But I think I'll have to go with Rick Santorum... not in a million years, under the threat of impalement or sodomy would I ever vote for that guy.

But yet again, the same goes for 75% of the Republican candidates.

Sorry, I just wanted to add that although I am far from a "liberal" I think Rush should be kicked in the nutts. Pepper spray is too nice. Same goes for Glenn Beck, Hannity, O'Reilly.
All a bunch of blow hards getting rich over warpping people. Anyone that looks to these guys for political guidance or moral support has serious issues.
The only time I support a draft is these four.
They give conservatives a bad name.

In better news, it has been 80 hours tobacco/nicotine free!

I don't feel that way. Santorum's the kind of idiot that doesn't realize that he doesn't know ****. It's kinda fun to watch Perry and Cain squirm when they clearly realize that they have no idea what they're talking about, but Santorum talks like he thinks he knows what he's talking about. I can't derive as much pleasure from that, I just wish he'd shut up.

I wish Rush Limbaugh would get pepper sprayed, then go away...

I find his opinions to be less offensive than the crap the President spews on a daily basis. BO can't string together four sentences without injecting a lie in his comments. If you hate Rush now, you are going to love 2012 when he will be getting a ton of free press.......which will result in a massive surge in his wealth. Enjoy the ride, you liberals have created the environment where a guy like Rush can make $100 million a year doing nothing but poking your politicians with a verbal stick.

What a difficult choice to single it down too one of them....I chose as a republican and I chose Cain, he has made a carnival out of the GOP primary...

Rick Perry. He is nails on a chalkboard to me, and as a Texan, I've had to listen to this empty suit for too long already.
