Primaries start in two months or so. If he doesn't have crews in place already waiting to go, it's too late now.

too bad all the baggage he would bring in wouldn't be his own. Just imagine how many of the questions he would face would start off with "Do you think your brother was right when he....?"

Well from what I understand, it was supposed to be Jeb who ran before Bush but for whatever reason it didn't work out that way. I've actually heard tale that Jeb was kind of pissed that George pre-empted him but that's all rumor.

After my first wife took everything but the blame I moved to Jax and lived there for a while before settling in St. Augustine.

Yeah, I think you are correct about the Bushes. It's all bull****. For reasons not my own I became rather familiar with Florida politics and I found it to be nasty. Partly because the the gods of north Florida were smiling on me at the time I faired well politically again and again. I can assure you I had nothing to do with it. The cards just came my way at the time. No matter, I discovered that politics was politics in Florida.

UGA, my alma mater. I love the dogs. But, I have also always been partial to Georgia Southern.

I don't care for any of them. Party has nothing to do with it. America stepped on its own johnson with the Kennedys. Why in the hell would anyone advocate making the same mistakes in the future. America has a population of over 300 million and we need to perpetuate dynasties? God in heaven, please. No more of that **** from either side. I have to tell you most of us are sick of that crap.
