The Gingrich Surge Has Come

Ah, do you agree has a chance vs Obama though? I personally think he is the only real chance. I mean everyone else but Romney has completely lost it mentally. Romney, IMHO, can't get enough of the swing vote to win.
He has to become popular among conservatives first. Then he will win the election easialy.

His biggest problem is his marketing. He has marketed himself as a moderate, which he is not on fiscial issues. But I have a feeling, you wouldn't support him if he market himself as a fiscal conservative.

BTW: Why do liberals like Romney so much. Do you love quotes such as "corporation are people", we should remove obamacare, that we should start a trade war with China, that we should not cut defense spending at all. I know, the reason you think he is okay, is because you don't believe a word of what he is saying. You just think he is pandering with the Tea Party. But what do you think Tea Party people think about that?

Currently I have only heard about Romney through word of mouth., but if the stuff you say he has claimed is true, then **** him.

Newt comes off as too pompous without the credibility to back it up and way too arrogant
He doesn't have to outrun that bear, only outrun the folks he's running against.

I spent some time with my great grandfather back in the early nineties. He called Reagan a young punk.

It may be that Gingrich comes across to the younger-than-thou crowd as being more of a "grown-up" than some of his competitors?

Since I have no investment in the GOP nominee and believe fully that Obama will win reelection, I can go on record as saying I would love to watch Gingrich and Obama head to head in a debate.

Same here.

Make it Pay Per View with proceeds to charity.

In fact, Newt has already challenged Obama to 7 three hour debates.

Newt, are you serious? That guy even looks like a troll.
It is sad you vote based on a person's appearance. I wouldn't admit that to a lot of people.

Oh, I'm sorry. Did you honestly think that your straw man would work? This is a pathetic argument. Please have the ghual and say you are wrong like I do.

If there was a logical structure to the above response...and if I had a clue as to what it means...I might be able to respond.

Maybe you could clarify for me.

however, the punchline is:

and all others generally remain flat. in retrospect, I find Mitt Romney losing ground to be extremely interesting, and not a little counter-intuitive.

The problem with Gingrich isn't his ability to do great things. He has done that before, and has the capability to do it again. The problem is that, with all the baggage he has, he is not going to win over many Independents, which is something that is essential to winning an election.

I would love to see Obama on stage right now with all the other GOP candidates....with Fox as the moderator. Give him about as much time as CBS gave Bachmann and Paul, ought to be interesting to watch the narcissism explosion.

I'm thinking the man is a solid VP candidate; but not a Presidential one, for generally those reasons.

Thats OK...most dems dont know about or care about Obamas crack fueled gay limo romps.

Problem is, there is no candidate (apart from Huntsman) who are a Presidential candidate.

Newt is the best of the worst.

Newt is a joke. John Edwards could come back and beat him. They could even carry each other's baggage.

As much as I would like to see Herman Cain get the hook-up, I would love for Newt to get it.

Yeah we all would, but like so many we also feared his baggage..

Tim-

Romney can win it. All he has to do is hold a press conference and make this announcement:

Mitt Romney: I am not Mitt Romney.

Like when he was supposedly mean to her on her death bed; but then she didn't die, and still lives today. I mean when are they going to let that baggage go, they let Clinton's go 5 minutes after the bj was over. The lefties all kooky over someone they won't be voting for anyway.

Perhaps both should hook up with each other? It sounds like a marriage of two very compatible souls on the same GOP 2012 ticket.
