November 12 CBS/National Journal GOPl national security/foreign policy debate

perry made a funny

Pretty sure they only asked Perry that question to get the lulz that were bound to ensue.

Perry's a funny, self-effacing guy, gotta love that. On the other hand, having tons of troops stationed in your state does not make you a smart policymaker or a good commander-in-chief...

so Herman Cain thinks what is and isn't torture should be determined by the torturer. Brilliant.

Oh joy, the ACLU is running the CIA and going back to what is/isn't torture.

WTF Bachmann? We have CIA interrogators in the field, wtf is she talking about...

This debate is by far the best. ****ing referencing Spiderman.

Did Bachmann forget that Obama has done pretty well on the "War on Terror"?

Once again, Ron Paul speaks sense. Regardless of whether or not torture is morally right or wrong, it's generally ineffective compared to other methods.

Who was the guy who said "tell me about it" after Huntsman made that quip about Siberia, lol.

Christ, Huntsman would be the best President out of the bunch.

That's correct.

Huntsman and Paul. Only two logical people on this topic up there. The rest is just chest thumping tough-guy talk.

Also, thumbs up to the moderators for saying no booing.

Romney is so full of **** it's coming out his ears.

Case and point with Romney's bullcrap talk about everything I do will make America stronger. blah blah blah... I'm so tough, shiny city on a hill, God bless America and amen.

I'm starting to lose respect for Romney while gaining more for Paul and Huntsman. Why doesn't Huntsman get more attention?

Huntsman doesn't have the name like the others. He is apparently, Romney, but not as liberal. He doesn't sound like it though.

Still waiting on Santorum to make a reference about going to war while carrying a cross.

Well people need to start paying more attention to substance rather than name.
