New poll is out, Romney down to 15%!! Newt is surging on Intrade

LMAO. Where were the democrats while this was going on? Who signed the bill that blew up the housing market? Who coddled and protected the democrats running Fannie and Freddie for decades? Geez, BArney Frank was sleeping with a top Fannie exec (excuse the pun). If you think the drug benefit was bad, you just not have read anything about the looming disaster called BOCare that is funded with nothing and will cost trillions......the biggest joke is the democrats claim they will cut medicare by $500,000,000,000 over the next ten years to help pay for BOCare. I could have sworn most democrats voted for the Iraq war and I don't remember them crying about the lack of funding.

Regarding war .....how's it working out for BO in Afghanistan. How many soldiers have died under his failed strategy? Any chance they are going to have free and open elections there in the near term?

You have no facts. The fact is the subprime mortgage crisis EXPLODED in 2004, 2005, and 2006, while the dems had been out of power since 2001. If you remember, the repubs held majorities in the senate, house of rep., and the white house from 2001-2006.

At the link below, you can see subprime mortgage issuance TRIPLED as a percent of all mortgages issued from 2001 to 2005! Barney Frank and the dems had no majority anywhere, this was all on the repubs, following George W. Bush's mandate to expand home ownership for minorities enunciated in 2002 (see the American Dream Act).

Would you explain what Barney Frank did between 2001 and 2005 to cause subprime loans to triple, while he did not head any committee and his party held no majority?

Obama beats Gingrich by an average of 11 percentage points. Not many in the GOP race fare worse. At this point, I just don't see anybody beating Obama. The only one with a chance is Romney and that's only because he draws votes from the middle. The far right can't stand him because he leans towards the center.

Yep, I don't know why we are all wasting our time and money on the 2012 election. The Repubs seem to want to have Obama run unopposed by offering for slaughter some wack-a-doo right winger rather than a candidate that actually has a chance of winning.

What bill blew up the housing market? Did someone find a single, simple cause to the collapse of the housing market? Wow, a new development. OK, gimme a break as I was away all weekend and out of the news cycle.

I think he's referring to Gramm (Republican) Leach (Republican) Blilely (Republican)?
