Hillary obliterates GOP field

My right-of-Rush-Limbaugh cousin believes that GOP field is a giant FAIL and that Obama's re-election is given (unless the TP breaks away from the GOP and runs a candidate acceptable to both them and the Libertarians.)

He suggested something that was startling coming from him: Obama should tap Bill Clinton for the VP spot and put him in charge of turning the economy around. He thought is that B. Clinton knows far more about how to manage the economy that Obama and would not "stimulate the country into ruin".

Perhaps he could get Obama to sign off on even more legislation that ends financial oversite and regulations?

I have to admit Ive never been a Hillary supporter...but she has shown a level of competence on the world stage that has surprised me.
Hillary would have been a far better president than obama...and I believe she would have handled our problems in a much different way and we wouldnt have the level of animosity permeating DC that we have now.
Would the economy be any better with hillary...who knows...

I disagree entirely. Her "diplomacy" is nothing but empty words and empty diplomacy

I can't help but wonder if it's because she hasn't had the scrutiny. Kind of like the hard-on people had for Perry at first, until they saw him debate.

HILLARY hasn't had the scrutiny? LOL, only since her husband became a candidate for President.

I am with you on this, I have also never been a Hillary supporter but compared to what we've had she does out do by far Obama. Her foreign policy skills have impressed me also but in regards to our current domestic problems I don't either.

She hasn't face the up close scrutiny of her proposals vs. those of Obama. Not in the past 3 years anyway.

You are aware that there are many people who will be voting in 2012 who weren't even born when Bill was first elected? Anybody between 18-30 is unlikely to remember a lot of that because even 30 year olds in 2012 were 10 in '92.

That's not the point though. Americans always have a hard-on for that one candidate who's not running. Then they run, and suddenly they don't look so good anymore. See Rick Perry and Fred Thompson.

The guilty white vote did her in

that is not true at all. What did Hillary in was a better candidate who simply out performed her in almost every important area of the campaign.

Better candidate is questionable, or at least subjective, but he did outperform her. Voters chose style over substance.

we could argue about that all day long and never make one inch of progress. In the end, the voters went for Obama over Clinton and the Obama campaign adopted a far superior strategy as evidenced by their pick up of delegates in caucus states where Clinton did put forth much of an effort.

I would agree with that.

If Obumble had the same scrutiny that either woman (hildabeast or Moose babe) had, that empty suit nobody would have never been president

I wonder why no person from the press ever interviewed him during that two year campaign?

I wonder why he never participated in Democratic debates where his views were questioned and challenged by both reporters and other candidates?

I wonder why his opponent did not bring up anything which could have presented another side of his views to the public and the voters?

I wonder how he was allowed to not participate in debates against McCain and get away with it?

Hillary lost the primary because her advisers thought the states were winner-take-all, so all they thought they needed to was to win the state an they would have all the delegates. That was a big screwup and caused them to go negative on Obama. That's when they lost me as a supporter.

Hillary lost, because Democrats rather wanted to get a black man, than a white woman in the white house, and they thought Obama was inspiring.

What they forgot was that it's much easier to say hope/change if you actually don't have to implement politics.
