Obama hires lobbyist for 2012 re-election

Now you are building straw men. I did not claim to be cool with his hiring of lobbyists in his administration. You are trying to twist this in an incredibly dishonest method. This hiring is fine, it does not violate his promise, nor is there anything wrong with it. You got your facts wrong. man up and admit it.

Why can't you actually argue against what I am saying? I mean, is it really that ****ing hard? Nothing I have said has been difficult, and yet instead of addressing one single thing I have said, you run around building straw men.

It does have nothing to do with his promise, which I quoted, and which you linked to later. You might want to go back and read the promise again. In fact, it would be a really good idea.

No you are not. Obama made no claim as to what he would do in the video you provided. He was not lying. You on the other hand, either still have not read the campaign promise, or you are lying.

You've destroyed your credibility by not addressing the point. The video I just posted put a nail in any sort of defense about "it has nothing to do with the campaign" yet Obama himself did the same thing in 2007. Face it Redress... you're points are a loser. Obama's broken his promise a bunch of times yet you cannot admit that, you cannot admit that his hiring a re-election campaign lobbyist is exactly what he slammed McCain on in 2007, and what he made as his "CHANGE" center piece from his first election.

All your doing in dancing, denying and avoiding. When you've got some substance let me know.

Obama made to my mind no promise to not hire ex-lobbyinsts for his campaign. Can you show me where he did? You have not yet, so your point is still failing. There is a point you could be making, but you have failed to do that too. Right now the point you are making is not backed up by the evidence you have provided.

All I am doing is taking your arguments apart. In my very first post in this thread, I showed how the campaign promise you are referencing has nothing to do with this hiring. What you should have done was admit it and move to a new point instead of harping on the same failed point,

but you are free to dismiss this a merely a "whine" if you want... but it sounds rather partisan/biased on your part to do so.

I'd imagine that it's not just the right who will "whine" ... the left as been pretty openly opposed to lobbyists lately.

He discarded this promise a long time ago. If this guy is just another one or not, it's really moot. The promise was long ago broken.

I never bought into his pledges. I thought they were attempts to suck in the dreamers, who were normally too idealistic and foolish to vote.

I have no problem with those who state that they realize he's simply another lying politician but they liked him more than the other lying politician.

Sometimes it's just the marketing package and a bit of elbow grease to ignore your "stains" and point out the other person's stains.

In any event, it's a non-issue to me regardless of which politician is elected. I'm not even morally guilted about it.
