Souce: SELECTED PRESIDENTIAL REPORTS FOR THE 2011 OCTOBER QUARTERLY

There are three ways of looking at the Q3 picture.

The amount of "Money Raised" is a good indicator of support.

The amount of "Cash on Hand" shows the liquid spending potential going forward.

The amount of "Cash on Hand minus Debt" shows the bottom-line financial situation.

Perry and Romney are (not surprisingly) 1st & 2nd in all categories. Ron Paul is a solid 3rd in all the calculation methods. I should also note, Bachman is above Cain in all the categories. Everyone else looks somewhat grim.
Below I assembled the breakdown for all ten candidates, ranked in order using the three categories mentioned above. I figured it would be good to have this all in one place.

09 Gingrich....-$839,449.11
10 Huntsman..-$2,817,979.25

Active Duty Military Personnel:

If they listed Dept. of Defense with a branch of the military I counted it or if they listed Dept. of (branch of service). Otherwise I did not. I think this is the fairest assumption to make. Their a A LOT of DOD employees who are NOT military. So someone simply putting DOD as employer does not in anyway signify that even ever served a day in the military.

The reserves/National Guard are NOT active duty UNLESS they are currently called up. Only a small % is usually on active duty at any given time and we would have no way of knowing if this was the case or not. So I added them in a separate category.

(not in order)

Ron Paul

Active Duty: $75,201.91
Reserve/national guard: $6,372.13

President Obama: Commander in Chief

Active duty:$39,828.15
Reserve: $2,122

Rick Perry

Active duty: $7,325
Reserve: $3,000

Jon Huntsman

Active duty: $1,250

Rick Santorum (Frothy)

Active duty: $500

Mittens Romney

Active duty: $6,555

Herman Cain

Active duty: $3,295

Fred Karger

$0

Gary Johnson

Active duty: $1,000

Thadeus McCotter

Active duty: $250

Newt Gingrich

Active duty: $250

Michelle Bachmann

Active duty: $4,632
Reserve: $150

I believe Ron got the most donations from ADMP then every other candidate combined this quarter.

Cain is in better shape than this shows. Money will be coming in much faster for him now with his vastly increased support, and he has done well without having to spend too much.

Rick Perry files for the 3Q. One striking figure: Of $17M in contributions, just $698,820 in checks of less than $200. bit.ly/qJCgcx

No tea party support?

But I thought Paul was absolutely clueless about foreign policy according to the media? Those naive active military contributors obviously don't have a clue what they're talking about.

Huh. It's almost like they don't like getting shot at and support a candidate who is actually serious about bringing them home.

I believe Ron got the most donations from ADMP then every other candidate combined this quarter.

Does this mean that the Democrats won't be throwing out the military vote?

Similar last quarter as well. The campaign is going on the attack with good timing.
