Iowa Caucus Has a New Front Runner

Because for many in the GOP race is still a huge issue. I wish it weren't....but the reality is....it is. Sad...but true.

Show me where anyone in the GOP has brought up race as being an issue? Because I can post 7 or 8 racist remarks by Democratic leaders in minutes. You rarely see anyone in the GOP bring up race. The only people that bring up race are the racist democrats that swear up and down they are not racist. This thread is a perfect example. You are the only one to bring up race and you list yourself as a liberal.

Here's a link to several racist quotes by your party:

I'm so sick of Democrats and Liberals claiming they are the enlightened ones and that they are above racism when they are exactly the people, the only people, that still give a damn about race.

So is the thought of a twenty foot tall panda bear swimming in the Olympics.

And both have as much chance.
I want Cain.....so tell me why I can't have him? I'm serious. I trust him more than anyone else who is running, and I think he has a better handle on how to be a PODUS. The best education in the world is to be a successful CEO.

That's exactly it. It isn't the out front racism that you have to be afraid of. Its the quite racism that runs rampant throughout the GOP. Prove me wrong. When the GOP nominates Cain I would be happy to eat my hat....in fact, I will post a photo of Cain on my avatar for a month if the GOP nominates him. I would love nothing more than to do so.....but unfortunately, the GOP has a long ways to go before that is ever going to happen.

BTW.....the right-wing tactic of trying to call those who point out racism "Racists" doesn't work. Nice try though.

I wonder if you see what you did here.

LOL...so you'd rather support the party that is openly racist than the party that is not? And I'm supposed to prove a negative now?

It doesn't work because you don't understand your own racism.

If calling out racism makes me "racist" in your view....then so be it.

Holy crap the GOP is desperate. The swinging from one to another and clinging to what's the latest to enter the game then drop them like a woman shopping from one blouse rack to another on a black Friday sale kind of is telling.

The Libbos did it to themselves. They've gone on so much with, "racist this! racist that! racist, racist, racist", concerning any criticism of Obama. Now, the Right Wingers are going to purdy much throw that crap back in their faces, by--possibly--giving Herman Cain the nomination for president.

that would be a really bad joke both on America and on the GOP itself.

And it ain't gonna happen.

Throwing crap back in their face!?!?!?!? Where do you get this stuff as it makes no sense. Some folks have earned the title of RACIST. They deserve it. So to get some sort of right wing revenge for their own racist positions, some in your camp advocate nominating a guy with no governmental experience and cannot even make a good pizza.

Amazing.

God can we have one Herman Cain thread that doesn't involve the word "race"? Please?

Oooh, so now they only like Cain because it's Black Friday? Racist!

The second I hit the "reply" button I said to myself, someone will do that.

You're right, some have, but it has nothing to do with them being a Conservative, or because they oppose Obama's policies, or because they want to nominate a guy with no governmental experience.

Personally, I think we need someone with no governmental experience. Look what the experienced guys have done for us.

It still doesn't change the fact that Cain is going to be incredibly easy to defeat in the - simply put; his 999 plan would raise taxes on most Americans while lowering them significantly for millionaires - which is exactly the opposite of what most Americans want.

Put that out there, and he's stunningly easy to beat.

What? You may not believe this (not saying you do) but a lot of conservatives say Obama is inexperienced... Now you are calling him experienced. Its like you change your mind to best suit the current scenario (not saying you do).

Again wasn't addressed at apbst, I had to talk in second person though :).

Should've said "in the general election" - not sure how I skipped over that...

There it is.

Cain's growth "could be" from people trying to "spike the vote", make you think he's out front so the others drop-off, because it is highly unlikely a complete political outsider will win the presidency. After all he lost a bid for the senate in Georgia, so how could he possibly pull-off the entire country? He seem like a nice guy with some good ideas, but he has to pass the mustard with the GOP base.

Too bad for Cain that Iowa is irrelevant in the whole scheme. Several of the frontrunners aren't even putting on much of a campaign there.

It is and it isn't. Winning here doesn't guarantee anything except that for a week or so you will have some money coming into your campaign, and that is important.

it also serves as a momentum win, and can wash out candidates, or at least start the process.
