Opposition to Obama grows - strongly

FOX NEWS POLL: MAJORITY SAYS OBAMA’S ECONOMIC POLICIES ARE GOOD IDEAS | A majority of Americans think President Obama’s economic policies would have positive results if they were implemented, according to a new Fox News poll released Thursday. 52 percent of respondents said Obama’s “ideas are good, but he hasn’t been able to get them implemented,” against 37 percent who think his “ideas are bad, and too many of them are being implemented.” In past polls, substantial majorities have supported the main proposals in Obama’s jobs plan, while others show continued frustration with Congressional Republicans for repeatedly blocking Obama’s proposals.

The problem with these poll results is the question, specifically the lower rating one you point to. "...ideas are bad, and too many of them are being implemented" would imply that 'many of them are being implemented' which they are not, for obvious partisan reasons. To select this option you would be conceeding that 'many of them are being implemented' which would be incorrect. Wonder what the results would have been if the questions were merely 'his ideas are bad' or 'his ideas are good'?

Interesting that you believe you have a great memory of the mid 2000's but apparently no memory of the past three years. You voted for Obama to clean up the so called Bush mess and at a cost of over 4.2 trillion added to the debt he has failed yet it remains all Bush's fault in your world. Haven't met many people with as bad of a case of BDS as you. There is more to the mid 2000's housing bubble than you are reporting.

Stop lying, Con. I've told you in the past that I voted for Obama because I expected him to appoint Liberal justices to the U.S.S.C. and not to fix the economy, which I didn't believe anybody could fix in 4 years. Not Obama and certainly not McCain.

Ahh, I see after getting bitch-slapped with your own article last time has led you to try a different article.

Meanwhile, you ran away from every question I asked you. Here they are again...

The [first] article you posted cited S.190 as the bill that could have saved the nation's economy.

That was in 2005...

1) Which party was in charge of Congress in 2005?

2) Which party failed to put S.190, which passed in committee, to a full vote in the Senate?

3) Why are you blaming the minority party; the party which is not the answer of questions #1 or #2?

As far as this last article you posted, it claims S.190 never made it out of committee. The bill passed in committee. You seem to think you're knowledgeable on how our government runs ... which party is responsible to get a bill that passed in committee to the Senate floor for a vote? The majority party or the minority party? Which party was in control of the Congress in 2005?

Uh-oh, Con ... you better start hunting for another article! This one's not helping you either.

Moderator's Warning:
Get those last arguments in fast, closing this on the hour.

Obama lost his chance for another 4 years with the record he has generated in the last three. With total control of the congress in overwhelming numbers he failed as the results show
He has? Who's gonna beat him?

Which party? Doesn't matter, this is 2011 and the Obama results are there for all to see and like you ignore. Those results will be on the ballot in 2012 and we will see how many are just like you, ignoring the results and believing in a massive central govt. whose role is to take on personal responsibility issues.

He has? Who's gonna beat him?

Whoever the Republicans nominate, the Obama massive central govt. vision has been rejected as the poll numbers show. When the Republican candidate is actually nominated we shall see how he does against Obama. Why would anyone vote for the Obama results in 2012?

So on the one side, we have people with facts and data and actual sources. From the other we have made up crap, op/ed pieces, and articles from two years ago that he claims is current. I know which side I think is right, and it's not Conservative.

Will it be Willard "Mitt" Romney who has taken both sides on just about every political issue? Conservatives just love the guy.:lamo

One Last time, BEA.gov, BLS.gov, and the U.S. Treasury which is the checkbook for the United States taxpayers do not lie and provide the facts that the Obama supporters want to ignore

Obama economic results in 2011,
25+ million unemployed or under employed Americans in 2011(bls.gov)
2.6 million fewer jobs(bls.gov)
4.2 trillion added to the debt in less than 3 years(U.S. Treasury Site)
Downgrade of the U.S. credit rating(S&P)
Rising Misery index 7.83 to 12.97 (The United States Misery Index By Year)
38-41% JAR and well over 50-55% disapproval ratings(Gallup)
Solyndra and Crony Capitalism
Management by executive order
Massive central govt. growth and taking over personal responsibility issues.

It doesn't matter that Republicans dropped the ball on S.190 and H.R.1461??

Then why did you bother posting two different articles on the subject?

It certainly mattered to America. According to the first article you posted, passage of S.190 in 2005 would have prevented Bush's Great Recession.

That doesn't matter to you???

Oh, wait, of course it doesn't matter to you because you voted for Bush, whose policies pushed toxic loans onto Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac ... the catalyst for the economic disaster, also according the first article you posted.

No wonder it doesn't matter to you -- you helped it happen by voting for that imbecile. Four times!!

He actually ran a business and turned a blue state into one with a balanced budget. Works for me and beats the alternative

Doubt seriously that the Republican Congress in 2003-2006 is going to be on the ballot in 2011 nor are they going to trump the Obama results.

He was a stinking corporate raider who was responsible for the loss of jobs.

Well Cain can't beat him. Obama leads him in the polls by an average of 8.2 percentage points. Now what?

The best you can do is the same cut and paste refuted crap?
