Any person who is not totally crippled by terror or knocked senseless would use a gun and shot anyone slamming her/his head into concrete after slamming her/him in the face and breaking her/his nose. Would you really be that much an easy surrendering victim?

I would based on the evidence presented in court.

The question is why are so many making this case about race?

I, and I suspect most, would. As an added bonus, you wouldn't have race baiters involved in this case. So, there would almost certainly never have even been an arrest and probably not even a trial.

This thread wouldn't exist nor would there have been a trial or arrest if Martin was white.

It also is notable that the prosecution and arrest of Zimmerman did not exist until it was clarified that he was Latino, not white.

We have a large Hispanic population here. :)

And anyway, you're implying that I meant there shouldn't have been an investigation if Martin was white. That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying the race baiters in this country wouldn't have cared about Martin if he was white, therefore, it wouldn't have become national news.

Because when they thought he was white the crime went uninvestigated. When they woke up and saw he was an Hispanic, they then went through the motions of an inquiry. I think this is the reality of what the NYT glowingly calls "The New South"....................

Actually she probably does not know that Zimmerman was on his way to the food store when he called the police about Trayvon. I also doubt she knows that Trayvon was a 17 year old young adult who is old enough to enlist in the marines.
