Did you all know about this evidence on Martin's phone the judge wouldn't allow?

I expected to see him weep when the verdict was announced; I really did. I thought he looked like a deer in the headlights most of the time. I can't imagine what it must be like to be unable to go out of your house without a disguise -- unable to get a job -- broke (at least for now) -- civil suit hanging over your head -- DOJ soliciting anonymous emails to prosecute you. OMFG. To me? The stress would be unbearable.

I hope he has confidence (real honest-to-God confidence) in his attorneys and believes them when they re-assure him that he's really in the position you describe.

I think they told him to not react in any way because whatever he did, it would be used against him somehow.

The "if you punch someone in the nose you win the fight" was singularly the most relevant and important FACT (not subjective or speculation) about TM of all. And it was kept out, while allowing evidence about GZ and physical combat allowed in. To me, that made it 100% clear the judge was NOT impartial.

That Corey hide that evidence for months is basis for sanctions both in terms of attorney fees and against her law license.

I still don't see that in the evidence.

Do you know where it is?

I wonder if Ms parents can sue all the media outlets inaccurately assassinating Ms character?

The amount of reporting error makes the NBC mis-edit look like an honest mistake.

Its really clear who has actually read the texts in question and who is parroting what they've heard in the media.

And nobody seems interested in the fact that the weak sauce they submitted is all they could find in literally thousands of texts.

FAR too many people are gleefully trashing Ms memory based on clearly biased misinterpretations of what is actually written.

Take a moment to read them. (Well, more than a moment, its not easy to parse) See if they say what you've been repeating they said. Links a couple posts upthread

They do not say what O'mara says they do in regards to a punch in the nose winning the fight. He actually says he'll be done when he bloodies the other guys nose. Still not lily white, but there's also apparently lies to girls about suspensions and having a job, even in this small sample, so its hard to say if he's being truthful about wanting to continue the fight at all. May just be preening.

He DID attempt to buy A gun for a friend who's dads girlfriend was coming around and they were scared because she's crazy about her guns. ALL the gun texts appear to be concerning this one incident, probably the pictures too. Ultimately the friend got a gun on their own.

I think they told him to not react in any way because whatever he did, it would be used against him somehow.

It still was...... even though he didn't respond at first, later he had a smile on his face at some point and was caught and it was plastered all over New York Post or some such rag paper.
