Someone else who seems bitter is the bald prosecutor in the case. I'm watching it on TV and he's taking it personally (him losing.) And I naively thought justice was blind.

Nope. The Judge stated during jury selection that the jurors names WOULD be released after the trial was over.....

Very happy about this verdict. Also very sad for Martin's family. Through all of this, everyone needs to remember that they did lose a son. That's horrible no matter the circumstances. Be that as it may, justice was served IMO.

Tell that to OJ Simpson, or the hundreds who sit in jail for years while being totally not guilty. Just because you are found not guilty does not make you innocent.

Well said. The graphic picture of Trayvon lying dead will haunt me forever. My son is his age.

Unfortunately, healing isn't on the radar. If we had someone (a leader perhaps) who went on national TV and said what you said, we might begin the healing process. But I don't see that happening. Which sucks.

Hug your son. Tell him you love him. Remind him no matter how mad he gets when something irritates him, not to allow it to proceed to a physical altercation. It's just not worth it.

It was pretty brave of Zimmerman, in my opinion. That's what I call taking responsibility for your own community. Trayvon shouldn't have attacked him, he would be alive today if he hadn't. Isn't it also fair to say that Trayvon shouldn't have been walking through that neighborhood?

You know they found he had pot in his system too.

Jury's should follow the law, sadly sometimes the law let's guilty people get away with criminal acts.

Zimmermann should have been found guilty of something. Just like Jody Arias. The difference here is that a lot of people feel that since the victim is someone they wouldn't like justice doesn't matter................

Sounds like you only want them to follow your law. As I said earlier in this post...these were people who had a helluva lot more information about the case than you. They made their decision. If you don't like it, go hold your breath or stomp your feet. Ain't gonna change anything.
