George & Trayvon

Which scenario was most likely?

  • George hunted Trayvon down like a dog

If Florida's laws are like most of the the other states laws in the country, if an individual strikes another individual you have simple misdemeanor battery. If one of the individuals ends up on the ground and the other individual continues to attack that individual it becomes a felony.

The coroners findings were that Martin was on top of Zimmerman when Zimmerman discharged his weapon.

Zimmerman had numerous lacerations and bruises on his head and face. Martin had none, just bruises on his hands from punching Martin. No injuries were found on Martin indicating he was attacked by Zimmerman.

In most states if one fears for his life or fear of great bodily injury he can lawfully use deadly force to protect himself. A broken nose is considered to be great bodily injury.

Now for whites and "Hispanics" when they are physically attacked by a black person they have two options. If your a pantywaist, run as fast as you can.

If you are not a pantywaist, stand your ground.

If the fight progresses beyond "mutual combat" and turns in to a felony battery and you fear being killed or seriously injured, kill the sucker. Better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6.
 
The poll had no scenario that fits my idea of what happened.


Don't think it was second degree murder, but it was a bonehead move to follow anyone walking alone in the dark. You are asking for a fearful or aggressive response.



I think he will be cleared of murder charges, but if there was a civil suit against Zimmerman, I think he would lose .

The woman was an idiot, Fletch.. it was 2 in the afternoon. I have little patience with fools. Neighborhood crackpot? Probably.
 
And if Zimmerman didn't kill Trayvon, he wouldn't likely be dead right now. Trayvon would have went to juvenile court and said the guy was chasing him and following gun, and that he felt threatened. Then Z's involvement in the NW would be reassessed and everybody would be happier.

Zimmerman should never have assaulted Trayvon in the first place.
