Security firm Associated Investigative Services is suing George Zimmerman, his wife and his attorney for $27,000 in unpaid fees. In the recently filed civil suit, AIS claims that ever since an independent trustee took control of Zimmerman's defense fund, payment for its services have stopped.

AIS says that Zimmerman's attorney, Mark O'Mara, hired them on June 26. Since then, the company claims that it has provided Zimmerman with "constant" security coverage. Zimmerman is currently living in hiding while waiting to face second degree murder charges for the February murder of Trayvon Martin.

Not enough details in the story. Question I have is what does the contract say about termination of services? The article says the defense broke the contract due to low funds. So what the termination valid or not. People are sued all the time over unpaid contract issues. Just one more for the courts to sort out.

Looks like their grief is with the trustee, but that wouldn't help convict Zimmer so we need to accuse Zimmer right?

Brings the whole hand written, personalized thank you card thing into focus. But where's the 150k or so they had? Did O'Mara already motor through that?

In turn, Zimmerman should sue spike Lee, Al Sharpton and all the others who published his address and unleashed mobs to kill him throughout the United States.

Funny how a person doesn't see that the topic had already been posted. Especially since it was at the top of this sub-forum.

It happens excon. You can complain about it to the mod team and they can merge the threads

This case is just so weird.. Now they have four websites.. Robert jr is tweeting all over the place sounding like he thinks he's the Pope.. Asking for money and threatening the Martin lawyers and some reporter for the Miami Herald.

Robert jr gives a whole new account of GZ grabbing the gun from Trayvon "with bloody hands".

OMara disapproves of Robert Jr's threats... and has asked for 1 million dollars so GZ can get a "real defense".

Osterman's book paints GZ as a racist...

Maybe they are all incompetent.

Just letting you know so you can be more attentive to what you are doing.

If more people were, no one would have to tell a mod anything.
