Would you or would you not be afraid for your life if someone was pounding your head onto something hard? Its a simple yes or not question. I've asked it in a couple of threads and I have yet to recieve a reply. This way I can definitely rule out the "excuse" that they just didn't see it.

you won't get a straight answer. they will claim M really wasn't pounding Z's head, or that it wasn't that bad, or one of a thousand excuses for why your question is not relevant to the case.

If they even answer. ;)

If your head was forcefully and repeatedly pounded against concrete, it would be life threatening and at minimum put you in the hospital under the care of a neurologist and/or neurosurgeon.

Irrelevent to the subject matter. Please stick to the threads subject. The subject being....

that is a non answer to the question
"Would you or would you not be afraid for your life if someone was pounding your head onto something hard? Its a simple yes or no question"

Since you won't answer that one with a straight answer how about

Can a person fear for their life without receiving bodily injuries? Yes/No?

I am thinking about it... I don't think I have ever been afraid for my life..

I suppose anyone can be afraid of anything... You wouldn't have to have bodily injuries to have feeeeelings.

The answer is Yes and Yes.
You do not need to have received bodily injuries to fear for ones life. IMO, the law(s) support that premise in most States.

Imminent threat is sufficient...

I would.

Now, may I ask, would you be afraid if an unknown person was following you?

Yes, I would. And further, when Zimmerman reached into his pocket for his cell phone? Had I been armed, I might have been afraid enough to shoot him. (I'm a Zimmerman supporter.)

If the state can prove that Martin did NOT accost Zimmerman, I think he's going to go down. To do that, however, they're going to have to have witnesses. If Zimmerman's story stands as he told it -- that Martin came back on him? I think he'll walk -- or, at the very least, be convicted of some lesser charge than Murder 2.

ACCOST

1.Approach and address (someone) boldly or aggressively.
2.Approach (someone) with hostility or harmful intent.

Would you like it better if I said:

"If the state can prove that Martin did not circle around and come face-to-face with Zimmerman...."

Circle around WHERE?

Accost indicates some level of hostility.. Trayvon was not armed. He asked a civil question of a stranger that had been following him since he came into the complex from Oregon street... probbly around 7:04 PM.

Martin's attack on Zimmerman put Z in a situation where he feared for his life.

Z following M put M in a situation hwere he feared for his safety.

It's a chicken and the egg question. It's pointless.

You don't get to claim SYG when you instigate a situation which creates a confrontation.

George created the threat... so its not a chicken and egg question.

I am thinking about it... I don't think I have ever been afraid for my life..

Wait, then why did you run away screaming from some guy simply walking down the street talking on a phone? You weren't afraid he would do something bad to you?

That is why Zimm's claim that he was returning to his truck is rather important. If he was returning to his truck, he did not instigate the confrontation. Sadly, for some, the investigator has already stated they can not disprove that he was returning to his truck.

I didn't scream.. I thought he might be a mental case for a few seconds until I realized he was on the phone.. and then I started laughing at myself.

OIK.. You thought he might be mental case and ran from him, but did not fear he was going to do anything bad that would put your life or safety in danger. Geesh.

I am looking to check the figures.. but he was some 200 feet from his Shruck.

Don't really care, it doesn't disprove that he was returning to his truck.... It only proves that he may have still been some 200 feet away from his truck at the time of the encounter.

and I know you think it's clever, but he clearly says truck, he even emphasizes the "T". But, from what I gather you are on the older side, so maybe your ears just aren't what they used to be.

Before cell phones,, I always avoided those people in NYC who were having animated conversations with no one.

Zim says Trayvon did not run from Zim in Fear, in his TV interview . Zim says he did not speak to Trayvon in a beligerant manner. Zim says he had no idea that Trayvon would be agitated with Zim until it was too late to continue back toward his truck. Do you believe that Zim really did intentionally not put Trayvon in fear?

I beleive Zim is a liar and was trying to jam Trayvon around from the start. At what point did Zim's beligerance become Assault? Zim had a duty to retreat, but did not.

The question of the situation when Zim shot Trayvon, ignores the reality of the start of the situation.
