Tryvon was on the phone with Dee at 7:15 and some seconds. Trayvon was shot at 7:16..

George couldn't see where Trayvon went so how can he claim that Trayvon doubled back and waited in ambush.

Do you see the problem?

It all hinges on George's failure to identify himself when ASKED by Trayvon, Why are you following me.

If George cornered me and then failed to answer, I would have clobbered him.

I don't have any issue with what this woman did. I'd probably shoot him, too.

And as far as the Zimmerman case, I have no opinion and stopped paying attention to it months ago. It's obviously a complex case, and I don't get why people are so obsessed with it. Complex cases happen every day and arguing about it is not helping matters. I am happy to let the courts decide, and honestly, I think all the fanaticism over it is impairing the justice system.

I think the similarity is that both cases are simple self-defense. The reason it's being analyzed is because they are two similar situations (a victim shooting and killing an assailant) with two very different outcomes for the person using lethal force in self-defense.

And yes, teens never ambush people with cell phones. Goodness knows we have never seen a cellphone video of somebody being beaten by a teen.

You make a claim he was "emulating" "tha life". Sorry, but by looking at his record, his multiple suspensions, drug possession, stolen jewelry he could not explain, he was not just emulating it, he was living it. He was emulating it as much as those 2 that attacked me were.

And I am sorry, you do not just call the police and report any little incident. Real people just do not act that way. Most of us generally ignore small things, it is not worth the hastle. Maybe in your world you call the police or attack somebody for every little thing, but most of us do not. And for a bus driver, you are talking about a potential loss of their job. And 99% of the time the Police are never involved anyways, just school officials (that is why he was never arrested for the jewelry or drug possession, it was handled by the school and not law enforcement).

However, are you aware that Mr. Martin was on a 10 day school suspension at the time of the shooting? That is why he was with his father and not his mother, to get him away. Here is a kid, recently suspended for multiple issues including drug possession, on a 10 day suspension. You apparently see an angel, I see a kid with serious problems. And trust me, I have seen this before. This kid was on the fast track down the path the 2 that attacked me were on. You might want to do some research into what was really on his Facebook and Twitter and MySpace.

"☠TRAY☠" is one account name, the other I already gave in an earlier post. He posted plenty of pictures before he died. Him making gang signs, him holding cash, him giving the bird to the camera, him showing off his tattoos, him showing off his gold grill. His social media posts are everywhere, even those from friends saying they needed to "talk business" cause they needed "plant".

At least now this thread is where it belongs, thanks for the hijacking.

Since when did Trayvon have any weapon? The police only found Skittles, Iced Tea and $40 in cash.

I never said he had a weapon. That does not mean he was not dangerous however.
