Just ONE from jail time is absolute proof the list of claimed Twitter messages is FAKE. The FAKE Twitter messages specifically claim Zimmerman is Tweeting from jail, which is impossible. Therefore, they are fake. Why don't you just acknowledge that getting into details and specifically jail times and it is known this is fake?

YOU are the OP. It is YOUR responsiblity to show ANY legitimacy to YOUR claim.

I agree, it is dumb. Did you say that about the fake pictures of Martin as well? As I recall, those are still being posted by conservatives today - even on this board. Only Thunder was willing to go this low and post some stupid fake **** about Zimmerman. Chew on that for a bit. ;)

these Tweets were originally posted by someone else on another thread. They were advertised as being legit.

So I believed that claim.

but yes, it is a shame that apparently, all sorts of fake info is being transmitted about Zimmerman and Martin.

Hey Thunder, I truly respect your acknowledging this. It is not all that rare I screw up and post something that is ultimately just wrong, inaccurate or a prank I fell for. It wasn't that many years ago I posted something from the "ONION" not realizing it is totally made up humor. Wow did I take a razzing for that!

We all screw up or get fooled. The sign of intelligence and integrity of a person is acknowledging it.

There is SO much junk now from BOTH sides it is hard to know what is legit and what is not. I believe your intentions were honest in this thread.

I would look pretty foolish posting a thread with info in the OP that I KNOW is fake.

I don't do that kind of thing. It would only hurt my argument in other threads.

If something seems too good to be true, it almost definitely is. Google that **** and make sure otherwise. If those were real tweets, you would have cracked the case like Columbo.

I hadn't noticed that photo because I don't think it's negative about Martin whether accurate or not. If it's fake, it is racist as you claim as it is an African-American stereotyping meant to be negative. But real or fake I don't see it as a negative about Martin. By that I mean a 17 year old making such a poise doesn't suggest anything other than acting like a teenager.

I did read of hunting targets being made in the image of Trayvon Martin and that is just sickening s...t truly ignorant people think up to try to gain attention (or make a buck.)

With default settings, there is no false image of Trayvon on either page one, or two, or even three.

But an image, which appears on page four, was not claiming to be an image of Trayvon.
Was it?
But a reasonable facsimile thereof used as a marker to show Trayvon's location on the map at certain times.

And it is of a person who has the same name as Trayvon, so was that map made when it was believed that it was the Trayvon in question?

As far as I am concerned, the image above hardly counts as disparagement against Trayvon.
A mistake being made because the two were of the same name and similar in appearance, hardly speaks to purposeful deception, but a mistake.
Which is totally different than making a fake Twitter account and attributing it to Zimmerman.

And it really doesn't matter since we know of the photo's with his middle finger raised and the one sportin' the gold choppers.
Which is how he portrayed himself.

Wrong!
It is a person that looks very similar to Trayvon with the very same name.

And folks were looking for just such photos because of all the lies coming from the Pro-Trayvon side, painting Trayvon as being an angel and Zimmerman as being a monster.

A mistake was made, and once pointed out to those using the photo they stooped using it and even retracted.

The point should be obvious. Trayvon isn't this little angel that the Pro-Trayvon side tried to make him out to be, and retaliation for that same side trying to demonize Zimmerman.
Weren't you part of that side?


But even though that photo is not of the Trayvon being discussed, it is a reasonable facsimile, isn't it?
We have already seen his facebook pages with the golden grill, the middle finger, as well as the cash shot.
So I find your outrage to be manufactured.

WTF is the point of that photo? Why do people post that photo and call him a nolimitnigga? Is it to use hip hop culture to justify the shooting of an unarmed 17 year old kid?

It has been explained to you why such a photo was used to begin with. But since you either do not understand that or refuse to believe it, it is you who is being unreasonable and is too far gone, which is clearly demonstrated by you saying it is racist. Which of course it wasn't.

I suspect everyone has unjustified prejudices, bigotries and biases of all different sorts, not just race, gender, etc, but all across the board. for many, though, it isn't really intense hatred or controlling - and for some it is really for shock values to gain attention etc. I generally don't get upset about it much as it is so much human nature. The real question is if it is negatively or unjustly controlling the person's thoughts and actions beyond truthfulness or reason?

Sometimes on this and other topics I wil post something greatly exaggerated as a satire against someone repeatedly posting extreme or prejudicial statements. Unfortunately satire doesn't always come thru when written.

A fake Martin picture probably is more to deliberately be annoying and to gain personal attention of the person posting it than to make a point or persuade anyone. I think that is why Sharon uses a photo of a 12 year old Martin and why another has an avatar of a punky Martin. Its not to be persuasive, but to annoy for the purpose of gaining attention - in my opinion.
