Get it through your head! Nobody is saying he should have been shot for doing drugs! The point of all this investigating into Martin's background is to get a better estimate as to the accuracy of Zimmerman's testimony. It shouldn't take a statistician or criminal profiling expert to convince you that someone with a background of doing drugs multiple times and committing theft is more likely to be an aggressor than someone without such a background. This strengthen's Zimmerman's claim of self-defense.

Even if the Facebook posts are legitimate (and I have no idea if they are), it's completely irrelevant to Zimmerman's testimony or his actions.

Cite your sources. It's the educated and correct thing to do.

And they are private messages because I've used Facebook and I know what private messages look like.

So, again, where did that info come from? If you don't know, that's fine, but at least admit it.

You think one site having screenshots - easily faked by the way - of a Facebook page is credible. Let alone a site called The Conservative Treehouse. Apparently asking where the information is from is now considered an attack.

Sorry, Caine, I have this thing with me where I like to use my brain and actually look at information, decide if it is credible (does it have back up sources, does it make sense, is there any proof that it is correct, is there any corroborating evidence) and make informed decisions based off of that.

The fact that you guys are citing a conservative blog who has random screenshots of private messages that no MSM source has released, has not been issued from the police, and has no actual evidence backing is disturbing. Even more so, the fact that you admittedly cannot figure out where they got the info from (since none of you have answered where it came from), how they got pictures of his Facebook messages, and this doesn't bother you... well, it should be embarrassing for you.

Unfortunately, the right-wing presence in this case has shown clearly they don't give one flying **** about the truth or actual evidence.
