I honestly think your comments show that you have no understanding of human nature outside of your own thoughts.

When you take into account Sharons previous posts in other threads its not hard to imagine that Sharon was making it about race.

I don't see a crazy at all. These were like 2005 iirc. He's 28 now, so he's 21 more or less when he's making these posts? His intended audience is a bunch of friends, some of whom happen to be his family as well. He's writing home.

We lack the context of his intended audience. He may be referencing specific stories and events we have no idea about. His intended audience are some folks he seemed to know well. They are the kind of people who recognize his inside jokes, sarcasm, or other indirect communications much more readily than we would. Some of what he wrote are obviously oblique references to events we do and don't know about. It's possible that there are some oblique references to things we don't get.

He tied the Mexican knife thing to working 96 hours, iirc. What's up with that? Is he talking about personal experience? Did one of his buddies tell a personal experience to Zimmerman and Z is referencing that? Is it in some movie?

Who cares what Zimmerman thinks of Mexicans? Last I knew Trayvon was not Mexican so if Zimmerman did actually post this stuff then so what? Now if it had said something about blacks...you might have a point.

As for the "hoe" part...again so what? I know TONS of guys that have called their ex's hoe's. And worse.

Nope, it matters. It just goes for more evidence that Zimmerman profiles and stereotypes when it comes to crime which is a huge part of the prosecution's case.

Doesn't matter. You can't condemn a man for something that is acceptable in 100% of the populace and is not illegal to normal citizens. You start condemning people for profileing and stereotypeing then NO ONE will ever beable to claim self defense.

That's what trials are about. I'm sure there are plenty of husbands who have called their wives names, but when the husband is on trial for murder, the name-calling that millions of other people do matter. Same here. The prosecution wants Zimmerman to look like he profiles people. Therefore, his comment about Mexicans matters.

I "got away with" more felonies than I can count and more felonies against me with no one prosecuted than I can count.

Maybe it's irrelevant for you, but it will not likely be irrelevant for the prosecution and that's all I'm talking about. If they want to make Zimmerman look like he profiles, this certainly helps them. It's naive to think that the lawyers can't effectively tie profiling Mexicans to profiling a black kid.

So what you're saying (in essense and what I am getting out of it) is that they will make stuff up just to get a conviction. Is that really how you want our court system to work?

How else would they tie in Zimmerman supposedly hating Mexicans with profiling blacks in such a way as to affect his decision to shoot Trayvon? In order to tie the two into each other they would have to show that Zimmerman also hated blacks. How are they going to do that with this?
