In spite of the fact that there is a kind of confidential non-aggression agreements between the Taliban fighters and the NATO troops commanders (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/new...cle6877142.ace), the situation in the northern part of Afghanistan still remains difficult. According to Afghani Ministry of Defense, now it is the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU) fighters who are involved in recent terrorist attacks in Afghanistan.
