When we last traveled Internationally, we were moving and had the max amount of check in/carry on luggage with us. 8 HUGE bags each up to the max weight limit. We also had our two little kids. It was a nightmare, along with a bunch of other crap, they have me take off my belt and shoes as my two daughters are upset and one is crying. It was a mess. People were so ****ing annoyed that it was almost comical, like a bad movie. I just kept telling people to not be mad at us, be mad at Homeland Security and Bush for making me take off my belt and shoes, which was the source of all of holdup. Having to put my girl down..etc etc etc. I kept wanting to make comments like you just did Doc, but I was afraid that they would pull me aside and interrogate me and stuff. So I let it all go. Ahhh... it was worth it in the end.

I felt so safe.

I felt so safe. | Yeah... I understand that profiling insults people, but it is also logical. Me, my wife and two daughters aged 2 and 4, and I hate to say it, but we are white Americans... are hardly the profile of terrorists.
But by all means USA... continue to check a fraction of the cargo ships and trucks that enter the country every day and instead allow me matches and lighters on the plane after you make me take off my shoes and belt.
We also had our packages checked at the scale during check in, it passed, and then they brought it back out of baggage an hour later or so and said that it was overweight. We had to open the 70 kg box and start taking things out... putting them into my pockets and back pack that were already full, and then reseal the box while hundreds of people had to wait for this process. The whole thing was retarded.
And No Spin... you know that it is retarded as much as we do, big out of control government that is essentially harassing its citizens in the name of being PC is stupid. It is not a Rep thing or a Dem thing... it is a common sense thing. Why don't you move back in time to Naxi Germany since you don't like to question lack of reason instead, for that is just as stupid as us making a love nest in China. Besides, I already have a love nest in another country. |

| I'm sure it would be just as upsetting to be body cavity searched and have your small children terrorized if you were brown foreigners, though.

Yeah, as usual you have nothing but emotionalism to back your illogical and bizarre views. |
