Now a British Actor goes to fight against ISIS and kill them. No experience whatsoever. We have had former Military from a few countries going over to fight and kill ISIS. We have seen a group of Bikers go to kill some of these Terrorists. We have seen American Christians go over to fight against ISIS. Now a Syrian Christian Lopping off the head of one of these Terrorists.

First we heard about many joining ISIS and they still are. Now others seeing what these Terrorists do and are doing. Are responding back in kind. Taking the fight to them. Even actors and people with no experience can fight against ISIS and kill them wherever they are.

Why can't the US and ALL other Countries? What say ye?

British actor Michael Enright, who starred in “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest,” has reportedly left the glitter of Hollywood to join the Kurdish People’s Protection Units in the fight against the Islamic State in Syria.

In an interview with the Dubai-based channel Al Aan TV, Enright said he had decided to join the fight after seeing videos of the Jordanian pilot being burned alive by the Islamic group and the beheading of U.S. journalists.

While in Kurdistan, the actor says he has learned about Islam and changed his name to Mustafa Michael Ali. He has no military background and little experience with firearms, according to his biography on the Internet Movie Database, or IMDB.....snip~

Oh yeah.....says he learned about Islam. Then changed his name. I also learned about Islam. Didn't cause me to change my name. Just sayin.

What say ye?

I say we need to be real cautious about support for someone literally throwing themselves into a real mess. What is happening in this region of the world, all that instability across multiple nations facing everything from multiple way civil wars to abusive military dictatorships trying to gain control, should tell us that any one person trying to do something on principle is bound to get drowned out by all that chaos.

I have no interest in further loss of life, but it is going to happen in this area of the world anyway. There is too much momentum to suggest we are at some tipping point. As such I question the judgement of anyone with little to no military experience jumping into this mess for purely personal ideological reasons.

Then changed his name. I also learned about Islam. Didn't cause me to change my name. Just sayin.

It would be most wise for us to not derail this into an "about Islam" conversation. There is no way for it to end well.

Heya OS. :2wave: It's like I have been saying. This is everyones problem. Not just those countries there in the region. Truthfully, I have no problem with those that go over there to try and make a difference. Personally or by Country.

All need to start doing something.

At, least the Egyptians and the UAE are in Libya and the Sinai.

Meh.

He didn't even need to use that as any part of why he was there. What he said before hand was enough. ;)

"They need to be wiped off completely from the face of this earth," Enright, 51, said, adding that he was ready to die for the cause. "I didn’t come here to run, I came here to fight and if I have to die, then I die. I didn’t come here to play games.".....snip~

War junkie. Has something to prove. I don't respect it.

Cmon now Crue. :2wave: This is a Hollywood actor we are talking about. If he can do it.....then any liberal can.
