ISIS Imitators Discussed Attacks on U.S. Targets in Canada.....

It appears some ISIS supporters were going to try and get an attack off in Canada, in a mall. NBC has changed the story once already, which Hot Air had caught the original screenshot. So this was the softer version of what is up now.


Intelligence officials tell NBC News that Canadian authorities have heard would-be terrorists discussing potential ISIS-inspired “knife and gun” attacks against U.S. and Canadian targets inside Canada. While intelligence officials say some of the discussions raise the possibility of attacks on U.S. citizens and other U.S. and Western targets in Canada, they have not picked up talk of anyone crossing the border into the U.S. to stage attacks. They also stressed that the possible attacks were at the "aspirational" stage.

Both U.S. and Canadian officials fear the beheading of an innocent person in a public place, or the slashing of citizens on a crowded street until police arrive to shoot and “martyr” the terrorists.....snip~

Yea the US officials really fear the threat if ISIS by arming them through other factions in syria and allowing the borders to be wide open with no security.

Well at least Canada was up on top of it.....as well as trying to identify the N. American that was in the Video executing Syrian Soldiers.

I don't think ISIS members, supporters, or sympathizers want to hit any Malls in the US. I think they will discover quite a few, that will put an end to their BS with finality.

I'm sure the hyping up of threats posed by these groups " at home " is just standard practice in public fear management so as to manufacture support for their governments actions. Actions that I think will do more to bring about their possible realization than to lower the threat .

When there is clear and identifiable threats already out there.....and they are directed at certain nations. Then governments don't have to use anything but the cold facts as to, how valid they are.
 
CSIS (Canadian Security Intelligence Service) is pretty solid, but we simply have less people to deal with, same with the ozzies that go on top of that beheading plot.

But to be honest I just feel like if there are as many terrorists out there as we're told, a real war on terror, we would be facing attacks every few months... but we don't.

And the hyping up of those threats to manufacture support for actions that will raise the likelihood of recipricol actions against the countries that prosecute those actions.
 
I'd like to see an ISIS knife attack attempted in Texas...
