You refer to the theatrical "terrorist", the one you see as the ever present "bogey man".

In reality, terrorists are impossible to define. You cannot offer a meaningful definition, and neither can the mainstream media and the government. In spite of that vague quality to the word, it's used all the time and most americans are reduced to trembling cowards happy to give up their freedom when the word is used. Funny (sad) that way. Such is the power of language and images.
