The way the reporter phrased it doesn't change the fact that she was about to cry.

You're painting with a broad brush, amigo.

I'm not saying that is ALL they do, but yes, if you want to simplify it and demoralize it, they are babysitters as part of their function.

It certainly could. It could have been in the mind of the reporter.

Re: Supervisor Asks Woman To Take Down American Flag

Well firstly it is private property, presumably, so it is up to the owner and their agents and they can decide not to allow it if they want. But that doesn't change the fact that is someone found it offensive they are a douche.

Re: Supervisor Asks Woman To Take Down American Flag

Am I the only one who read this article and wonders how she knows who it was that told her supervisor? I've seldom heard of somebody making a complain to H.R. and then a supervisor giving out information on who the complaint was made by. So how does she know that made this complaint? Maybe this hospital does it differently but I still don't see why a supervisor would tell her who it was knowing that A) they work in the same office and B) it would obviously create employee tensions.

However, the person finding it "offensive" should have the nerve to stand up and say so without getting the boss involved.

Myself, I don't display a flag at any time. But I know people who are draft dodgers who do. Displaying a flag, not displaying a flag, neither is an indication of your level of patriotism...
Why do you bring the draft dodgers into it? What are you trying to make yourself more righteous or something? Who gives a **** if you know some draft dodgers?
