OVERALL DEPARTMENT POLICY ACCOMPLISHMENTS, REGULATORY INITIATIVES, AND INTERAGENCY EFFORTS

In the first 100 Days of the Obama Administration, Secretary Clinton and the State Department have made significant progress in advancing America’s national security goals and promoting America’s values around the world.

Secretary Clinton is already the most traveled Secretary of State in a new Administration. The Secretary’s trips have included her inaugural trip to Asia, the Middle East and Europe, Mexico and across the border to Texas, the Hague in the Netherlands, Europe with President Obama, Haiti and the Dominican Republic, the Summit of the Americas in Trinidad and Tobago with President Obama, and to Iraq and Kuwait.

Hot Air Blog Archive Does State think Texas is a foreign country?

LOL.

Okay. I've changed my mind about the border fence.

Do ya'll know why Texas doesn't float off into the Gulf of Mexico?

Because Oklahoma sucks so much:2razz:

Haha. I guess Governor Perry has more sway with the State Department than I thought.
don't you dare call that goddamn ****tard a "governor"! x(

...Texas IS an independant republic...as it should be...

we are the only state where armidillos are flat and sleep on highways...

we are the only state where any soft drink, regardless of brand, is referred to as "coke".

we are the only state that houses all 5724 specis of snakes.

we are the only state where distance is measured in hours not miles.

we are the only state that has FOOTBALL as its state religion.

we still say "sir" and "ma'am"

we are the ONLY state that will fine you for picking wild flowers in the spring...DONT TOUCH A BLUEBONNET, just look and take photos....and leave the beauty for someone else to enjoy....

Fort Worth....where you can STILL carry a longneck down the street and enjoy a beer while you stroll the historic stockyard district.

Nope. Same thing in GA, AL, AR, and probably others. Although they kind of explode when one gets in the back yard and I pop it with a 25-06.

Same in GA and, since Coke is based in GA, I'm guessing TX swiped that one from GA.

we are the only state that houses all 5724 specis of snakes.
You are welcome to them.

That seems to be pretty standard from TX to ND.

we are the only state that has FOOTBALL as its state religion.
Worshipping football is a good thing?

we still say "sir" and "ma'am"
That's also pretty much standard across the south.

we are the ONLY state that will fine you for picking wild flowers in the spring...DONT TOUCH A BLUEBONNET, just look and take photos....and leave the beauty for someone else to enjoy....
That should be the case everywhere.

Fort Worth....where you can STILL carry a longneck down the street and enjoy a beer while you stroll the historic stockyard district.
Enjoy and beer do not belong in the same paragraph let alone the same sentence.

.

Is this how swine flu got about?  :(
