Because three sentences out of a seven page article doesn't represent anything. If you want to read the article thoroughly, go ahead and we can have an interesting and factual discussion on the very points that make the israeli racial discrimination system effective apartheid. If not, we should rather try to stay with the initial intent of the thread rather than burden it with unfactual off-topic stuff. Is that ok with you ?

Sigh......I have read this article. I read it the last time an individual tried to use it as "proof" of an apartheid. The article merely states that people describe Israel as such. But the fact of the matter is that an apartheid is a seperation of people within a state. There is nobody seperated in Israel. All citizens carry the same rights with them daily amongst each other. Palestinians on the "Palestnian" side exist outside the country. The UN gave them something that no Arab, Turk, Brit, or Egyptian has ever given them - an opportunity at independance and freedom. The chose to squander this in favor of the Arab crusade. You may as well argue with complete ernest that America is an apartheid because Mexicans don't have the same rights as Americans.

And what would be OK with me would be debating against a critic of Israel that actually deals in honesty rather than the exxaggeration of the day.

Its ok Ja. So far I am enjoying reading all sides of this arguement and think both sides have good points. Dont listen to hateful Vader rhetoric that falsely labels anything he is scared of as rhetoric.
