Right was posting as a memeber who happens to be a mod. One would think that out of all people here at DP, a mod would be most familiar with the rules. That was my point.

I looked at it and I personally do not consider the post either egregious or infractable. But that is me. If you feel that I may be in error and wish to pursue this further, simply click the red and white Report Post icon and follow the form instructions. A different Mod (when available) will then read the complaint, review the post, and either agree or disagree with my personal opinion. If they should disagree, other mods will also be asked for their input to arrive at a consensus decision.
I do feel you're in error, Tashah.

That's very possible. I am human just like you and Right. At any rate, I have advised you on how to properly address such a deficiency.

Moderator's Warning:
Tash, Middle, while I understand the back and forth and commend you for the civility of it there's no reason for it to be taking over the thread. I'll look at it, and we'll leave it at that.

In regards to mods. When posting as normal posters, we are no different than anyone else. I would imagine the mod team would be much less active, and much smaller, if we had to be mods and mods alone. We're not humans, nor saints. If we cross the line, report us just like anyone else and the mods will view it just as anyone else.

Now, back to discussing whether Bush is or isn't a failed presidency

Re: Bush, a failed Presidentcy.

"I would have to agree, his efforts to address adult illiteracy have clearly met with little success."

I find it rather amusing that this silly joke is supposed to be "over the line" in any way whatsoever, for a poster or a mod.

Lighten up Middleground, life is too short to waste arguing a mod was "over the line" for posting a truly harmless, curse word free, ad hom free JOKE.

Jesus.

Re: Bush, a failed Presidentcy.

My apologies to all, that post was pretty clearly over the line, or at least not in the spirit of "civility a must" that we try to maintain here. Sorry to the OP and to any others who were bothered by my comment.

You mean it reeks of the truth.

BTW: WE got attacked but Saddam-Iraq had NOTHING to do with it.
So, why did yo, yo bush attack Iraq to 'liberate them' if he knew gas would go up through the roof.
Opps, I think I found out why, to get him and his OIL BUDDYS RICH!!!

Increased demand, increased instability in the M.E, etc, etc, etc.

But I'm sure that if Bill Clinton were President, that the price of oil per barrel would be $5 dollars, and Windows Vista would wouldn't crash, my morning coffee wouldn't be so cold, and it would rain more often in Victoria. Good ol' slick Willy would fix everything everything! Boo hisss, evil Republican Presidents!

Another that can stand the truth.

Hummmmm, why are you bringing up Clinton? Most do that to defend bush when is once again ****ed up.
-
1-You shouldn't be using Vista because many bugs are still in it.
2-If you morning coffee is getting cold then buy a good thermal cup.
3-Hummmmmm, how do you know that gas would be $5.00 a gallon if Clinton was in office?
