I agree. If someone gets a great job running this country, they should have their privacy taken away. This would end the scandals of corruption and soft money. Politicians would always watch what they said and did if it was all recorded. I think Bush wouldn't have been able to steal the 2000 election if this rule was in place. This is definitely a scandal, and Dirtpoorchris, I like your solution

I agree with Mr. Obama. We need to get our arabic translators from the 56th and 57th states out of Iraq and into Afghanistan where their translation services are truly needed. Thank god we have a guy that can talk pretty now, since that naturally means he's intelligent.

Now if i remember correctly that most of the time in order to spy on someone you needed a warrent. And it couldn't be because someone might fall to corruption or a sex scandel. If you start spying on all the politicians your just as low as them.

I'm here to debate, as shown by me posting earlier in the thread. You added something to the thread, I was trying better to understand it to possibly be able to react to it properly in terms of things because I truly was not exactly sure of understanding what you meant by it, or how it addressed the issue. By asking for clarification I hoped you would be able to provide that, since this is a debate forum about politics and I assumed you'd be posting something that had to do with debating the topic of this thread in some way, so that I may properly respond to you.

Apparently, instead, you just decided to attack a poster with a provocative question that had 0 to do with the debate and had no real purpose....or am I wrong, and there is a purpose, but for some reason you don't wish to further clarify or add to it so people can actually do the point of this forum: Debate.

yes, I do try and debate on my own terms. Thankfully for me, that's the terms of the site as well....so, yeah, its working out well.

You still haven't exactly explained how your comment pertains to the topic at hand so that perhaps I can properly respond OR relented that it was, in fact, simply an off topic attack at the poster in question.
