Do you think they got her ass in the Ringer now? Can Hillary and her Team sit and spin their way out of this one? What say ye?

Since March, Hillary Clinton has repeatedly claimed that nothing that she sent or received through her e-mail system contained information that was classified at the time. Two Inspectors General referred the matter to the Department of Justice, claiming that material transmitted in four of the 40 emails they sampled contained information that was “classified when they were sent and are classified now.” Who is correct? An exclusive report from McClatchy provides some much-needed context. The information contained in those e-mails came from five intelligence agencies, including the NSA — sources that produce some of the most sensitive and classified information for the US government:

Intelligence officials who reviewed the five classified emails determined that they included information from five separate intelligence agencies, said a congressional official with knowledge of the matter.

The public Benghazi email contained information from the NSA, the Defense Intelligence Agency and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, a spy agency that maps and tracks satellite imagery, according to the official, who asked to remain anonymous because of the sensitivity of the matter. The other four classified emails contained information from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the CIA, the official said.....snip~

Plus, there may be more e-mails coming. Late yesterday, longtime Hillary Clinton aide Philippe Reines surrendered more than 20 cartons of printed e-mails to the State Department. That came in response to a FOIA claim from the Associated Press, and it might be interesting to see what still exists in Reines’ cache and not in Hillary’s:.....snip~ same link.

Her majesty's problems just got very serious.

That (underlined above) approach is the best way to see if HRC "over edited" the e-mail collection forwarded that she says are the complete "work related" set. Pick a few of high level state department employees that were using the proper gov't server and compare all e-mails sent to them from HRC to those that she "offered" - if any difference found is not "of a personal nature" then she is toast.

Heya Ttwtt. :2wave: Gowdy got his deposition already. Now the AP forced this move. This shows there would be security violations that would have to take place, like McClatchy has stated. Hillary can't say she didn't know if these Emails weren't classified. I am sure most with the CIA Director would be.

i am less concerned about references to classified content (which cannot be released to the public anyway) than I am about omitting "politically sensitive" e-mails that show the motivation for declaring that a spontaneous protest to some obscure video, rather than a planned terrorist attack, had occurred in Benghazi right before the 2012 election.. The campaign slogan "GM is alive, UBL is dead and AQ (terrorists) are on the run" would not play well next to (yet another) terrorist attack on a US facility.

Obama wanted to end (and declare victory in?) the war on terror ASAP. That caused all sorts of problems with reporting any evidence to the contrary - especially if it resulted from an Obama sanctioned policy. Admitting that the US involvement in Libya had, in fact, increased the strength of (or lessened resistance to) terror groups could never be allowed to happen. The Benghazi ordeal had very little to do with diplomacy (that was conducted openly in Tripoli, Libya at our embassy) and much to do with the US arming "rebels" that other unsavory folks considered to be terrorists from the "annex".

I think it just added some icing to the cake.....The Demos are quite concerned now, enough to get them to prod Biden not to hold off any longer.

Perhaps, but trusting the demos to "come down" on their main 2016 POTUS hopeful is foolish. If we have an HRC "investigation" that resembles the Lerner/IRS "investigation" then we can rest assured that not even a smidgeon of wrong doing will be found. ;)

Federal Judge: I Will Haul The IRS Commissioner Into Court and Personally Hold Him in Contempt Over Lerner Emails.....

IRS Commissioner John Koskinen has been stonewalling Congress and the courts for more than a year over Lois Lerner's "missing" emails. He's also ignored court orders to produce documentation and now, U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan has had enough.

During a hearing yesterday surrounding a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch, Sullivan said he "will haul into court the IRS Commissioner to hold him personally into contempt" after the IRS failed to turn over ordered documentation to the Court.

The information ordered included status reports and recovered emails belonging to former IRS official Lois Lerner. Sullivan also noted Department of Justice of attorneys are in the same position for failing to turn over ordered documentation. More details about the hearing from JW:.....snip~

In how many years, after the 2016 election, do you want HRC to finally see a judge? ;)

I haven't seen that judge do squat to Lois Lerner or anyone else in the IRS case. Sure the judge is pissed now but that is over a court procedural delay only which is exactly what the IRS case is about (delaying the process of getting tax exempt status). That sort of "swift" judicial action should have occurred many years ago.

When it rains it pours and Hillary is all wet. This brings some questions to mind.

1. Will the State Department still be required to to the email dump required by a federal judge tomorrow, to Judicial Watch, since it may contain classified information?

2. What email server was Reines' email on? The story indicates that it was on a private email account.

3. The server and a thumb drive is in the possession of Hillary's attorney and has classified and possibly secret information on it. When will the DOJ or some other intel agency step in and take possession?

4. If and when they ever take possession of thee server and thumb drive will charges be filed?

5. Will Reines' emails conflict with the State Department's dump?

6. If the there are emails missing fromt he Clinton email dumps will there be charges filed for destruction of govt property, destruction of evidence, obstruction of justice, contempt of Congress and however many security laws she has broken?

7. What else will they find in the email dump that is scheduled for tomorrow?

8. What are the legal repercussions for Reines?

Hillary Clinton Sent Classified Information Over Email While at State Department, Review Finds
Information was classified as ‘secret’ at the time it was sent, intelligence community inspector general says

The four emails in question “were classified when they were sent and are classified now,” said Andrea Williams, a spokeswoman for the inspector general. The inspector general reviewed just a small sample totaling about 40 emails in Mrs. Clinton’s inbox—meaning that many more in the trove of more than 30,000 may contain potentially confidential, secret or top-secret information.
~~~
As a result of the findings, the inspector general referred the matter to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s counterintelligence division. An official with the Department of Justice said Friday that it had received a referral to open an investigation into the potential mishandling of classified information. Initially, a Justice Department official said Friday morning the investigation was criminal in nature, but the department reversed course hours later without explanation.
“The department has received a referral related to the potential compromise of classified information. It is not a criminal referral,” an official said.
They had reviewed only forty of the emails and 10% contained classified information.
And then an abrupt reverse. Something stinks.
Who was that democrat a few years back that got caught removing classified from NSA in his pants? There will be no repercussions for anything Hilary may have done except that if the republicans end up in the WH in 2016 they will be under much greater scrutiny.
If Hilary were caught on video driving a truckload of nukes to Tehran she would still get 54% of the popular vote. People simply don't care about integrity. All they care about is image and Hilary plays that game better than the rest.
Mornin Excon. :2wave: Looks like her and her Team are reeling over this discovery. Of course you know why.....that part about being a Security violation. Now does fall upon her head. She can't say she didn't know what she was reading wasn't classified. Plus they already have her sending out Emails to Blumenthal. After she lied and said she sent nothing.
Why are people treating her and any of her Team like they deserve respect. That is what needs to stop!
I think the IRS is scheduled to do a dump tomorrow.
Lets hope they do. As for Hillary and her team they tried to play off, what is termed the Judgment call. It didn't help.
Q: If Clinton did send or receive classified information over her home email server, what are the implications for her — and for national security?
A: That is difficult to assess without knowing more about the sensitivity of the material. But there is a context to keep in mind. Critics say her private email server was almost certainly vulnerable to foreign intelligence services such as China's or Russia's. However, the State Department's unclassified email system is also believed to have been penetrated by Russian hackers. "It's conceivable that they were more secure on her home server than on the State Department server which would be ironic," Aftergood said. That would not be the case, though, if she had sent the material via the State Department's classified system, which is considered more secure.
There is also a history of senior government officials who have gotten in legal trouble for mishandling classified information, even when there was no evident damage to national security. The most recent was former CIA director David Petraeus, who pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor after admitting he gave diaries containing highly sensitive secrets to his biographer and girlfriend, Paula Broadwell, though she never published them. In 1996, CIA Director John Deutch resigned after it was discovered that he had stored highly classified documents on a home computer connected to the Internet.....snip~
So Mrs. Clinton, either you knew you were sending classifed information on your personal email server, in which case you were knowlingly breaking the law, or you weren't aware 10% of your emails contained classified information, in which case you are too stupid to be trusted with any public office.
Which is it?
I bet they wait till real late, 11:30 PM, like they did last month; just before the deadline. The main news staff is off for the weekend usually. It gives less time to read them before the talking heads programs on Sunday and more time to forget the headlines.
Dozens of Clinton emails censored for security reasons
WASHINGTON (AP) — Dozens of emails that traversed Hillary Clinton's private, unsecure home server contain national security information now deemed too sensitive to make public, according to the latest batch of records released Friday.
In 2,206 pages of emails, the government censored passages to protect national security at least 64 times in 37 messages, including instances when the same information was blacked-out multiple times. Clinton has said she never sent classified information from her private email server, which The Associated Press was first to identify as operating in her home in New York.
The Friday release brings the volume of emails publicly released by the State Department to roughly 12 percent of the 55,000 pages Clinton had turned over to department lawyers earlier this year. That falls short of the 15 percent goal set by a court ruling in May, a lag the State Department attributed to interest by the inspector general of the U.S. intelligence community in the possible compromise of classified information.
Dozens of Clinton emails censored for security reasons
Now even the establishment has plenty of reason to doubt Hillary. She's pretty much on par with Petraeus now, if it wasn't blabbing state secrets to a lover then it was sending them openly on an unsecured server.
I'm not even sure if the legal angle makes any difference anymore, even if she's successful in somehow defending herself against all this, she's going to have so much mud on her face that she'll become politically radioactive.
It'll be a much better race without Hillary, anyway. No one wants another Lyndon Johnson, do they? Jeez... are you aware that Lyndon Johnson had his own sister murdered? Yeah, her name was Josefa. She was hanging out with hippies and dabbling in LSD and all kinds of bizarre stuff like that, and Lyndon couldn't fathom the idea of being attached to someone like that.
This is the kind of person Hillary is too, exactly like that. I don't know if she's actually had anyone killed, but rumors abound... just like rumors abounded about Johnson... which of course were later shown to be true...
Anyone who votes for Hillary at this point is highly un-American. Regardless of party. If you're going to put someone like this into office you're just dumb as a stump, and that's all there is to it.
I think Hillary will be forced to withdraw from the race. Sooner rather than later. She's trying to delay the inevitable as long as possible (and the administration is helping her), but the judges are getting impatient, and Congress is getting impatient, and pretty soon her whole house of cards is going to come tumbling down.
Yeah, and just with that batch they already found out she lied again. New batch coming out and there will be more and she will lie some more. Although with the new batch coming out and any new discoveries of classified information that she purposely avoided telling people about, should cause some sort of charges to take place over the security violations. Its a Catch 22, so she has no out.
