The meds someone is taking, especially those for mental problems, are a very private matter. Someone in the medical field can be fined up to $250,000 and sentenced to up to 10 years in prison for unauthorized disclosure.
Why do you think the public has any need to know what meds he was taking? There are updates in the medical literature all the time about adverse effects of drugs and they are much more accurate than the sensationalism some idiot reporter would write in a general circulation paper or some pretty TV anchornan would read from a teleprompter.
If your doctor prescribes you a new drug, question him about it's side effects and do some research before taking it.
BTW, thought I better add, I have no financial connection to the pharma industry. I do use some of their products.
