Good press, but I can't imagine him really liking to do this. When did the President's start doing this crap? I know Bush was doing it that one time in Florida, but it just seems so phony when any of them do it. They should let the wives do it, and they can stay focused on their real problem, like who needs to get booted out today cause they owed taxes, or worked for a porn company.
 
I see it all now. Bush reads "My Pet Goat" to kids and becomes a goat. Obama reads "Moon Over Star" to kids and becomes a star.

Bush should have chosen a book with a better title to read. :mrgreen:

Why would somebody who worked as an attorney for a porn company not be eligible for a job in an administration? Please try to make sense out of your emotions.

Because thieves steal peoples possessions and break the law and porn people don't? I've worked in the industry (as an image editor) and I fail to see how it makes me a bad person. Not to mention that being an attorney doesn't mean you actually believe in your client. It just means you believe in the constitution and giving everyone fair legal representation. Everyone defense attorney works criminals at some point.

it's not a thing by itself, but if we keep stacking up the thieves, the cheats, the lobbyests... adding a "porn person" is not going to give his image a net plus.




PS. I kinda worked in the porn industry myself.... The amatuer side of it... Though The GF at the time wouldnt let me keep the tape..... :mrgreen:

It's not crap. The single most productive gesture any person in authority can make to the next generation is to spend time reading with and to them like this. Presidents (and CEOs of companies) should do MORE of this, not less.

The "real problem" is that too many of those in authority are thinking about the coin first and the children second--a perversion of priorities if ever there was one.
