And you wonder why the right-wing has no sense of humor.

There was a time, Jallman when you actually did. But your uncontrolled desire to jump to the defense of Palin at the sign of any criticism has gotten in the way of your previous wit.

Obviously I started this thread as a humorous poke at Palin's sidestepping of the issues.

Don't take it so personal dude. Palin is a big girl...she'll do just fine without you.

There's just too much material to fit into one!

Exactly:

Actually I only started two topics on this. "So much for straight talk" that I intended as a serious thread to discuss whether Palin answered direct questions or strayed greatly and this one, which was obviously a humorous take on a same topic, but never intended as a serious debate issue thread.
Some people just don't have a sense of humor.

I wouldn't have a problem with it if you had started a humor thread in a more appropriate place like...say, On The Ligher Side.

And you may denigrate my loyalty to Palin all you want. I don't really give a flying rat's arse what you think of it.

"Partisan Politics" would seem to be a highly appropriate place to put political humor.

On the lighter side usually contains material that is not political in nature.

BTW...Jallman, I am not trying to denigrate or impugn your loyalty. I understand that you like Palin. But she is not above criticism and certainly there are several areas that criticism is appropriate.

Criticize all you wish. Just don't expect that I won't step in and set the record straight when that criticism is the slightest bit off base.

Its actually a really good flick. But last night watching Sara Palin sidestepping every question, I couldn't get that image out of my head.
