Palin the pro Union republican?

odd and I, heck, we’re going through that right now even as we speak, which may put me again kind of on the outs of those Washington elite who don’t like the idea of just an everyday working class American running for such an office. But yeah, there’s been a lot of times that Todd and I have had to figure out how we were going to pay for health insurance. We’ve gone through periods of our life here with paying out of pocket for health coverage until Todd and I both landed a couple of good union jobs. Early on in our marriage, we didn’t have health insurance, and we had to either make the choice of paying out of pocket for catastrophic coverage or just crossing our fingers, hoping that nobody would get hurt, nobody would get sick.
Now that is funny.

Goes well with her backing the homosexuals...

Are you saying she lied?

How about you provide some evidence.

Now where did I even hit she lied?

All I stated, is that she stated a very pro union attitude, which is not exactly the usual thing you hear from a supposed Republican.

Unions are a dying breed. They've cost more jobs in recent history than they've helped.

Re: Palin the pro Union republican?

Pete I’ve underlined the parts that our wingers object to.

The U.S. Department of labor reports that:

· Wages of union members are, on average, 27 percent higher than those of workers who do not have union representation;

· 92 percent of union workers have job-related health coverage, while only 68 percent of non-union workers do; and

· 73 percent of union workers have a guaranteed, defined benefit pension, compared to 16 percent of non-union workers.

Damn, seems I underlined everything didn't I?

Those are ridiculous statistics that don't show the whole picture. In many cases its comparing to non-union workers working in jobs previously held by union members before the shop closed down and moved South.

They price themselves out of the market. The statistics are evidence of that.

Mine come from you, so that would be the US Department of Labor.

Yours come from my post? That’s hilarious, where in my post is there any comparison of closed shops going south?Show me where “The statistics are evidence of that”.

This is fun, watching you build strawmen, then angrily running in and tearing them down; great fun.
