Government is neither just nor necessary. I think its time to start looking at alternative ways of structuring society beyond the hierarchy of capitalism and the slavery of government.
I imagine a lot of people will disagree with me but I'm more interested in those who agree.
Anybody out there agree with me?

But human nature tends to destroy utopia, and anarchy in reality can not work. Some amount of government is needed to do the big jobs; regulate money, make roads, ensure the rights and liberties of the individual, etc. Now you have to be careful and keep it as small as possible for large government is bad, but it's the inherent danger of government itself. While small amounts of it are needed, you can easily overdose if not careful.

The question of whether or not we should have a government is moot, because we will have a government whether we want one or not.
The only thing we can change is what kind of government we will have, and whose purposes it serves.

I do, however, think not only is it possible but its been proven that it can work before. I'm not going to hang onto the past, but I think our successes in Spain and the Ukraine particularily show that, at the very least, we've done better then socialists and communists. |
