Biden would have been my absolute last choice among those in contention - and I am not at all comfortable with Biden being next-in-line for the presidency should some racist nutcase assassinate Obama - a very real possibility in a nation where 8% of white voters admit that are not comfortable voting for a black man. |

If not you may want to watch replay on Fox this week end. It realy sured things up for me. I like someone one gives you quick and direct answers, not someone who beats around the bush like Obama did. Do I think McCain is anywhere near perfect? No he is a polititian and human 2 strikes against perfection.. Obama just is not ready. |

Current Mood: | Re: Joe Biden I watched the forum and I'm in the minority in believing that Obama's performance was better than McCain's. Obama paused, discussed the fullness of issues and generally was some shade of gray in his answers. McCain gave sump-speech after stump speech, tried to use his POW experience to bolster his positions and generally behaved like every sleazy politician from the past.
However, Biden and McCain are the same animal IMO - relics of the past that need to get out of the way and let the future happen - and it deeply concerns me that Obama has picked this sort of person as his running mate. |

Why do you bother posting what is an obviously slanted attack thread and go to the trouble of putting a poll with it that has no options for those in disagreement? Further, the poll options are actually somewhat insulting to many Democratic voters. This is "Debate" Politics, not "Our Way or GTFO" Politics.

I just hope he really thinks about some of the things he is going to say before he engages his talk box though. Some folks are saying this pick kills his chances, I disagree wholeheartedly. I think Biden is an insurance policy for those who were still worried about the experience factor. |
