Altering the 14th Amendment is the key to the anchor baby problem

Section 1 of the 14th Amendment covers citizenship so I propose the following to be added.

Citizenship via birth right shall be given to persons born to parents that are either US Citizens, Legal Immigrants, Resident aliens of the United States or citizens of territories under control of the United States.

You do realize, of course, that it will take another amendment to accomplish that, and that 3/4 of the states will have to pass it, in order to implement the change, don't you?

I agree with you, but I don't believe that the political will exists to make it happen.

Lol, my wife (who is from Mexico) asked me if it would be ok with me if her family could come and stay at our house and wait untill they have there kid, I about S&!t my pants lol. There is no way that I will allow family to do something like this if I stand there and say others can not. I have been called a lot of things in my life but a Hypocrit is not one of them, and I will be damned if don't help fight the problem. I told her that if my brother and sister-in-law wanted to have there kids here in the U.S. then have them get there citizenship.
