I will be there ....

If you plan on going, let me know and we can exchange phone #'s and meetup.

It's too bad that most Americans attending that rally will be relatively dim-witted and shallow. Vauge, you will be a normal sized person surrounded by mental liliputians. When you get there, breathe deep and realize that you might be the smartest person in attendance.

The thought of that might simultaneously excite and depress you.

But don't worry, we'll be here afterwards to help you make sense of it all.

Actually, the constitution says what the government can do. If the constitution doesn't say it, the government can't do it.

Go to a trekkie convention or a goth bar. You get the same ambience without all the cultishness.

Government cannot grant any freedom without first taking that freedom away.

We had an absolutely awesome time.
20 hours up in van, 23 hours back in van. (Parts of I40 in TN was shut down and we had to detour)

There were eight of us - mixed between Libertarians, truthers and Republicans. No one else in family was able to make it.

I am not a truther* though it made for some excellent discussion.

*truther is someone who believes the public was not told the full story of 911.

Without further adieu...

Here is small fifteen seat van that we were bunched up like sardines in.

The first night there was a VIP party (that Paul eventually showed up at). It was at Mr Smiths... It is on the right of dude in white shirt.

Well, I proceeded to get smashed on this beer called Yuengling. OMG, it was on tap and easy flowing. A couple of the youngers ordered shots and I couldn't resist to show my ability to hold my own. Short story.... Lincoln and I had a deep conversation and I took a cab back to the hotel to ready for the next days festivities...

(to be continued)

I didn't wake with a hang over. Kind of surprised. lol

We showed up at the Washington Memorial at 9:30 sharp. To the left slightly off camera the crowds were gathering.

We started marching at 11am. Some guesstimates were as low as 5000 people and some as high as 20,000. Unsure, but it was worth every second and I was very proud to be a part of it.

We marched for about 40 minutes and finally made it to the Capitol building.

Woot!! I did it. It was then and there that I realized I am an "activist".

(more later, I have a conf call in a few minutes....)
