I hear you pal. Both parties have gotten away from small government and personal responsibility. Too many people don't want to do a god damned thing for themselves these days. Everyone runs to some form of government agency instead of taking the responsibility for themselves. Sometimes I wonder if we've lost our rugged individualism. But I claim too many have just become disenfranchised with the whole thing and gave up caring. If presented with real choice, I think we can revitalize that which made this country the shining city on the hill. All I can really say at this point is keep the faith, there is a battle worth fighting...one in which our liberties and freedoms are proliferated and guaranteed. Not many of us left in being vocal, but it's a voice that must be heard.
