Republicans Big-Time Wrong on Ethanol Issue

Don't worry about it Sir Loin. There was never any doubt in rational people's minds that these exotic toys were never going to be the mass people and goods movers of the future.

Oh yeah, that goes without saying. Me thinks Prometheus got himself a little too confused and ended up making a real mess of things. Instead of realizing he had made a boo boo, this yutz compounded matters with all the high school “I was gonna win” damn you stuff. As well as the idiotic “you’re lying” about me shite.

Don't worry about it Sir Loin. There was never any doubt in rational people's minds that these exotic toys were never going to be the mass people and goods movers of the future.

Do you have anything to back up your repeated statements that electric cars will never make it? What is your "rational" explanation for why electric cars can't succeed? I have posted facts to support why electric cars will replace gasoline, what facts do you have to support your position?

Actually one could argue the proponents of the ethanol boom were dead-right, for their own interests. And they are not feeling shame, they are feeling celebratory, they made fortunes from their orchestration of a government sponsored boom that they were poised to take advantage of.

Who let them do this...that's who is shamed (us).

In the future Sir Loin, I will suspect everything you do as dishonest.

My argument which you are again distorting was
1) That an electric grid powered by solar panels can power electric cars. That directly refutes aegyptos's point.
2) That solar panels as a proof of concept do in fact work.

You are dishonestly applying what you mean by viable rather then even bother to ask what others mean.

Don't worry about it Sir Loin. There was never any doubt in rational people's minds that these exotic toys were never going to be the mass people and goods movers of the future.

They said that about automobiles. Then small cars. And they said that about electric.

Perhaps you lack foresight?

Fine with me.

I’ve got only one question for you; this is all about the diabolical underhanded conspiracy to deny you a
“win”aint it?

Sir Loin,

Do you actually have any actual argument?

The claim that solar cannot power cars is wrong.

That is entirely the argument.

Look, you guys don't have to get into a brawl over this. Does it really matter who said or interpreted what?

Can we just agree on these two facts?

1) Using solar power mounted on vehicles as the primary means of energy for propulsion is not a viable technology in the near future, or maybe even ever.
I posted the math of why.

2) It is possible to make an electronically powered that can provide similar performance to a combustion automobile. The Telsa is proof enough of that.
It is also possible to use solar powerplants to generate the electricity that is then stored in the vehicle.

The real question we must debate is this: can electric vehicles not only prove viable, but competitive compared to combustion vehicles? Current EV's cannot match combustion cars on price or driving range. To truly have an environmental impact in America, electric cars have to out compete combustion vehicles in the market. In addition, the electricity has to generated in an environmentally friendly manner.

Sir Loin,

Do you?

The claim that solar cannot power cars is wrong.

I'll alert Ripley's and the media. Also all those imaginary posters you're having your argument with about that bromide. ASAP.

That is entirely the argument.

Sorry, got lost with all those "underhanded" and "dishonest" breads crumbs and insults that have littered this highly intellectual path of yours.

Pardon me if I fart…………….in your general direction.

Now allow me the accused “flamer” to at last do just that. Sadly, I can’t seem to muster the effort to get much worked up with you, ya poor myopic fouctard.:2wave:
