Recently much ado has been made of Palin's writing several words on her hand at the speech in Nashville. MSNBC let loose with a slew of pejorative attacks against her following that speech, imagine that for objective journalists eh?
In any case it is fair to say that anyone standing up to make a speech would have at least cursory notes to keep them on topic. Palin is no different.
The WH seems to think that this negates the criticism of Obama having to use Teleprompters when speaking to 6th graders, and his own staff. However, recently Gibbs appeared at the daily press conference with words written in his hand as a cheap shot at Palin. Here is what Politico had to say about it:
HotAir said:"The tone is one reason for less laughter," says American Urban Radio's April Ryan. "There are lots of serious questions begging for serious answers. Those questions do not meld with laughter and light banter."
But there's also some frustration a-brewing among press corps members.
"There definitely aren't a lot of laughs around the briefing room these days," says Washington Examiner White House correspondent Julie Mason. "Robert's little digs and evasions have lost their power to amuse — particularly since we haven't had a presser since July."
Mason also reports frustration in the ranks: "Reporters know how close the press secretary is to the president, and yet the quality of the information we get doesn't often reflect that."

...the White House press briefing is one of the lamest, most useless spectacles in American politics. How can this be beneath the dignity of an office that has no dignity to begin with? The only time the briefing’s worth watching is when Gibbs is forced to defend something especially stupid that Biden said, or when something bad’s happened in the Middle East that sets Helen Thomas up for a “question” about whether we maybe had it coming. Lacking either of those contingencies, if the guy wants to resort to some hackish partisan Mencia-esque schtick to liven things up...
Hot Air Blog Archive Video: Gibbs writing on his hand now to mock Palin; Update: Photoshop added
Kansas City Star wrote:
Poor White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs. His shot at Sarah Palin Tuesday made not only him but his boss look bad, too.
Gibbs mimicked Palin by writing a few words on his left hand, then showed them off during Tuesday's press briefing.
Gibbs' intent was to mock Palin for using her hand as a mini-reminder kit during her appearance at last weekend's Tea Party Convention in Nashville.
But Gibbs is supposed to be promoting the party line of President Barack Obama right now, that bipartisanship is needed on major issues to improve America.
He's not supposed to be taking shots at one of the leading spokespersons for the other side, the Republican Party.
Gibbs' "look-at-me" moment wasn't helpful to his boss.

So how about it people? have we had enough of the mocking, childness of Mr. Gibbs yet? And what does this say about a WH that is uncovered daily for the lies they are telling that the President talks of bi-partisanship, while his mouthpiece thinks he is in the 5th grade with his antics? What a loser this administration is.
