There are some things you don't want your enemy to know. If it's a national security issue secrecy can be a good thing.

Nope. Unless you call building more bases "withdrawing."

Why did you bold something you completely ignored?

Obama sent more troops to afghanistan, if you view bush as using the military to "kill people" a rather idiotic comment I must say, then you could not honestly say Obama is doing anything different.

Military secret, much like military intelligence, is a contradiction in terms.

At least obvious child is being consistent in his disdain for certain policies. However, for most of America that voted for Obama and the halls of the Democratically controlled Congress, this is a non-story now that their party has control.

I'll give him that. Though his view was a little off in regards to the portion I mentioned.

Since when was military = science in the English dictionary?

Generally, it helps you read something and comprehend it before posting.

Notice I said this:

"At this point, the only real thing I like about Obama is that he views science as something other than a tool to kill people with."

How does a rational person come to the conclusion that military = science?
Or are you one of those who thinks that literal creationism is true science and that actual science is just a giant conspiracy?

Only if you fabricate what people write rather than actually address what they wrote.

Please take the time to enroll in remedial English comprehension courses at your local community college.

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington announced today that it is suing the Department of Homeland Security after the non-partisan organization was denied a request for records of visits of “leading coal company executives.”
This sounds like a special interest group that needs to concentrate on more important issues than who is visiting the WH. Most of these groups want access to the list so they can use it as a propaganda tool. I'm more concerned with the taxpayer dollars it takes to defend the governments position on the issue.

I wasn't concerned with who was visiting the WH in the past and I'm not concerned now. I also believe that full disclosure could have some negative consequences where national security is concerned. I'm sure some of our enemies would be interested in who we are holding meetings with.

Well chalk another one up. This was bullsh*t under Bush and I think it's worse that Obama is doing it. It's not what he ran on. This isn't transparency.

A list of names doesn't give away the "secrets" of the meeting. What a pile of poo.
