The 4th of July is the only holiday I like. Lots of great memories of going up to the lake with my family to watch fireworks over the lake while BSing around the fire. I still love fireworks.

Right now this liberal has potatoes boiling on one burner, eggs on another burner, macaroni on another burner and bacon frying on the last burner.

BTW, when I was at the store this morning I saw already "cooked" bacon...in a box. I've never seen it before and I'm picky about my bacon so I didn't try it, but already cooked bacon?

Anyone try that?

I woke up about 30 minutes ago when Gary came running into our bedroom and grabbed his gun.

Evidently Gary was on his computer and he saw a little blue car drive by really slow. The guy in the car was looking at the house and Gary thought he was on the phone. Gary's first thought was that it was one of our son's friends looking for our house. The car came back, parked in the street and a guy in his 20's got out. At that time Gary realized that he left his windows down in his truck.

Guy makes a beeline for Gary's truck and Gary ran out of the house, heading for the driveway. Gary said the guy took off running towards his parked car. Gary was almost to the driveway when the guy got to his car, turned around and pulled a gun. Gary did an about face and ran into the house to grab his gun........

****!!!

Guy took off. Gary didn't get a license # because the guy was parked at an angle on the street.

Happy ***king 4th of July!
