You agree we should not have back-stopped the collapse of the banking industry in 2008.

I'll assume you also did not support the bailout of GM/C and their suppliers.

So explain then why you would have wanted the greatest depression.

The irony becomes that your response, where you quoted me, causing me to spend my time reading a total falsehood....is a waste of my time.

But I can understand why instead of producing an "adult" response you went this way, you generally can't explain your positions coherently or concisely.

But since you aren't a Trump supporter and haven't got the slightest clue what a Trump supporter thinks, your post is nothing but nonsense. If you are actually curious and would like to know what Trump supporters believe, why not just ask them? I know, because if you did that, you might actually learn something and be unable to make foolish posts.
 
I think the Trump supporters believe that the country needs a course correction.

Right Track / Wrong Track

When it comes to views on whether the country is headed in the right direction, just 31 percent of Clinton voters say the country is "seriously off on the wrong track."

Compare that to Trump voters -- a whopping 93 percent of whom say the country is on the wrong track.

There was a time in America when "Made in America" was seen as prestigious and now that has largely become ignored. My issue is that rather than focus on government controlling that and instituting policies against it there should be campaigning and educating people that by buying items that are made in America you are supporting American workers and as long as people continue to buy, for example, a Ford made in Mexico there is no financial incentive for companies to remain here and support Americans.

"Made in America" isn't even a priority for Trump. Most of those "Make America Great Again" hats were made in China. His clothing line was made overseas. Suddenly he's had a change of heart?

So you just make it up. Got it. Ive explained Trumps appeal here a dozen times. Its not complicated and not too dissimilar from what people found appealing about Sanders. Supporters of trump look beyond his dumb statements and tweets and focus on the overall message of putting America and American workers first, fighting career politicians and an unresponsive federal government that works for the powerful and not the people, defeating terrorism, and smashing the PC culture. Now he may not achieve a single one of those things, but that is what his supporters see in him. By contrast, the left focuses ONLY on his stupid statements and boorish tweets and ignore the overall message.

When you hear someone on the left talk about jobs, they refer almost exclusively to government jobs--infrastructure, cops, teachers and the like. Trump talks about manufacturing jobs, business and trade. Its not a coincidence that it is the rust belt states that switched from Democrat to Republican and handed Trump the election. The guys campaign had a theme and a simple message. That's why he won. And if dems don't come to grips with why Trump won, he will win again.

A course correction and a complete overhaul of the system so that power is wrested from a corrupt, self-serving permanent political class and returns it to the people as the Constitution intended. If he accomplishes nothing more than that--ridding us of the tyranny of political correctness and the permanent political class--he will do more for us than the previous four administrations put together. We will start electing public servants instead of professional politicians, and we will not be plagued with an incomprehensible mountain of laws, rules, regulations, and mandates that intend to direct every part of our lives.

I don't think he can fix it all in four or eight years, but he can make a damn good start. As one of his sons said one time, telling Donald Trump that something can't be done is like waving a flag in front of a bull. He loves problem solving and prides himself on finding solutions. The impossible just takes him a little longer than everything else.

Agreed. I imagine that Trump would put his support behind Cruz's Term Limit Constitution amendment. Depending on how it's written, I might be inclined to support it. From the very beginning, legislating wasn't supposed to be a career. It was get elected, do your service, go back home to your livelihood. I think that should return, frankly.

Trump's argument is that it is hard for a company to stay profitable without outsourcing due to over regulation, taxation, bad trade deals...etc

As someone in business his goal is to make a profit, the fact that he has to outsource those items would do more to prove his point rather than discredit them.
