Out of a hailstorm of unfathomable things during the week, one sticks out to me: How can it be that in the end, Barack Obama did not understand the Obama revolution?

He came away from that elated whoosh in 2008 not comprehending that many voters viewed him as the escape hatch from Clinton Inc. It never would have occurred to anyone then — even the Clintons — that President Obama would be the one to brush away any aversions and objections, take us by the elbow, and firmly steer us back to Clinton Inc.

Voters waited in line for hours at those early Obama rallies because they wanted thunderous change. They wanted a newcomer who didn’t look like the old dudes on our money, someone who would bust up the incestuous system and give us, as the poster said, hope.

But Obama lost touch with his revolutionary side and settled comfortably into being an Ivy League East Coast cerebral elitist who hung out with celebrities, lectured Congress and scorned the art of political persuasion

And as I said in another thread what is going to turn out to be the fact that Obama signed off on the coronation of Hillary plan, and that she then turned out to be so bad that she lost to Trump who converted Obama voters for the win because Obama and Hillary and the entire D Elite lost track of a HUUGE chunk of American, which then allowed Trump to rub out most of the Obama influence because Obama rarely to never put in the work to set things up right, is going to be considered one of the most significant Presidential compound failures of the post war era.

Basically it is going to be a very important 8 years lost because the guy we sent to put out the fire not only did not do the job but worked to make the fire worse, in part by being a supreme prick.

He might just beat his predecessor for the "BAD POTUS" trophy.

Mr Dazed and Confused Obama.

I don't know if this constitutes a ' ton of liberal missiles' but I sure would like to know what he considers incompetent. It just seems like he obediently hates President Obama and found a conservative narrative to 'worship'.

Yep. My biggest bitch is Obama lacked the stones to cut off Hillary's balls. He lacked those stones for practical reasons: he needed her voters. But, that he did it is not in question. And, now we have Trump. And, Hillary is toast. Woohoo!

er uh RN, posting actual facts is not a "schtick". Pretending not to understand a clear straight forward post is a "schtick". I get that "schtick" a lot from conservatives. Hey, you did that "schtick". And you did the "whine about Vern to deflect from Vern's post" schtick too. anyhoo, the point you seem to miss I was curious what he considered "incompetent" because he makes the claim "considered one of the most significant Presidential compound failures of the post war era." I just don't find "wah wah he sucks" and obediently posting a conservative editorial very informative.

and Rn, if you ever want to discuss the bush Mortgage Bubble, I'm always happy to discuss the facts. the conservative "schtick" is to pretend to want to discuss the Bush Mortgage Bubble and repeat empty factless narratives over and over.

Its not shock to "deflect to whine about Vern". I see that a lot. I would still like to know what you consider incompetent. You did start a thread on that premise.
