America aint great and Putin is a great leader

What we conservatives have noticed is that Obama is ashamed of "America" and that Putin is proud of Russia.

This makes one of them a patriot and the other one a foreign implant and a traitor.

Yes, Hillary and Trump are not the candidates for this election. With Hillary's corruption/serial lying and trump's sex scandals, this isn't our best election. Trump supporters can be a problem, but at least they aren't Hillary supporters lol!

For many of those on the right who support Trump , they do so partly because they feel safe in their whiteness... in their middle class standing .... in their native born American citizenship .... and in their maleness .... in their traditional societal entitlements of status and power all which they believe combined will protect them against any authoritarian abuses that a President Trump may devise against Mexicans or Muslims or Blacks or women or the disabled or just plain any of the hated Others in our society.

Trump isn't a conservative, and we real conservatives don't support him.

I agree with your point. I find it disturbing that people are chanting along with that low class, crude boor Trump who is saying that America isn't great. Talk about a completely different message than is supposed to be sent by the GOP.

Trump sucks, and his supporters suck for promoting this disgusting clown for President.

I'm white and I don't feel safe because I'm white. I feel safe because the best trained Black NCO's trained me and my battle buddies for years and we serve together as a unit, not as this race war that you and your friends in the left wing created.

Actually Trump supporters are worse than Hillary supporters. They took a golden opportunity and positively blew it. The stupidity of those people who made it so that Trump was the opponent to the most highly beatable Democrat since Walter Mondale is something that the history teachers will be dwelling on 200 years from now. Trump supporters did this to this country.

You may have a point, but it's tough. On the one hand, you have Hillary supporters who support blatant government corruption, lying to congress, mysteriously deleting emails that contain criminal activities, her flips flops over the years (she used to be a gay-hater, now she "likes them), the liberal race war/war against police officers.

Then you have trump fans that support a dude who made some locker room talk and says some stupid ****.

I think Hillary is a bad person. But her "flip flops"? Seriously? Four years ago Trump was Tweeting that Obama spoke for him when he called for severe gun control. Now he's convinced the easily duped that he's against gun control. In 2008 Trump proclaimed Hillary to be basically the greatest person in the country to be President. Now he says she's terrible. Trump was pro-partial birth abortion and pro-choice. Now all of a sudden he isn't, because he has to pander to the evangelicals. He was for the war before he was against it. Spare me the "Hillary flip flops" nonsense. When you compare her to her disgusting opponent, she looks sane, and that's impossible given that she's a mess.

Well Done. Too bad it falls on deaf ears when it comes to Trump supporters, they think he speaks the truth and no amount of proof to the contrary is going to be good enough. The GOP is going to have to do some serious soul searching when this election is over, please take back your PARTY.

Problem is Trump is exactly Conservative. Racism, nativism, trickle-down economics, bellicose boasting, ignorance of basic civics...these are Conservative principles that have always existed in the Conservative movement.

You forgot authoritarianism which is ultimately where Trump gets his admiration for Putin. Trump cannot do what he wants with Congress and the Supreme court.
